+1 for wbo2. They are generally more accurate than most widebands because they use 10 bit versus 8 bit resolution (which is 4 times higher). Another bonus is that they have a narrowband simulator...
Your thinking on the 25 PSI is not quite right. 25 PSI is the max that they write to the LED on the DIC, that's all it means. The sensor see's a much higher number, at a much lower resolution. ...
I need the clutch pedal position signal wire pin at the ECM for this car. I thought it should be a brown/white wire at pin 16 on C2. Anybody have alldata or pin configuration for this?
Is there anywhere that I can read more about the Max Air Load Torque Table?
I changed the values and it proved very interesting. I think that even stock that the numbers are high. When I changed...
255 is 1 byte, which is an 8 bit value. Go to Calculator hit bin, and type 8 one's (11111111), then hit dec. It will show 255. Anyways the programmers choose that as the data type to use. ...
On my car I had 50% pdl pos, and the air load went to about 240, yet in the table I had about 80. Then I looked at ETC position and ETC desired position and they were about 96 and 97%. That...
It sounds like you need to calibrate your MAF. It probably thinks you have more air than it really is injesting.
Is this released yet? I created my own that was forwards and it works in the scanner.
What's your question justmike?
Hey justmike,
ALWAYS dial it in for the 10% alcohol, not gasoline. You never want to be lean. I don't know off hand what the AFR should be with that mixture. But it's probably not as off as you...
I have the exception.
In log boost low at 3520RPM's I average 18.20 Lbs boost, at 5500 RPM's I average 15.32 100% pedal at frame 382.
In log boost High at 3520 RPM's I average 14.04 lbs boost,...
I typed it on my cell phone... Anyways, yes the stoich value for different fuels is different. But it still doesn't affect the sensor. Use 14.68. If your running a different fuel than you should...
Mike,
14.68 gets you the actual AFR. It doesn't matter what fuel you run.
I have my doubts about that. I think that it's load or air load. But the 90% column seems to be what's being commanded at WOT. Also anything over 254 or 255 seems to be read as the max value. I...
Hey Aaron,
It's 14.68
Hey Mike,
I'll upload something when I feel it's got some merit. I don't have anything worth posting yet. But am learning along the way. Lots of testing.
I haven't changed my COT PE tables at...
Thanks Aaron,
BTW I had an 02 Z06 not too long ago.
Anyways I have been making great progress. Like I said I am like a sponge, and try things and see how different things do what. I think that...
They are a BLAST. I just assumed that they would be available world wide. There is the Opel GT, same car different badges. That car does look nice. I love the 6 speed and Recaro seats.
So...
Made a few adjustments in the Air Load Torque table... 100% from 2k to 6k
Changed max torque to 100 from 99
Power Lamda set to .89 until 4k then .88 to 5k then .87 on in the 100 column.
Boost...
Try returning the desired air load in the 100% column back to stock. That fixed it for me... See my other post.
I have a Sky Redline. Bone stock at the moment, except for some tuning.
I try stuff, then see what it does. What better way. I am way new to HPTuners, but might know a thing or two. Anyways I...
Is it normal for it to take ~30-40 minutes to read the VCM? It said that everything went fine, but I have read that 90 seconds to 4 minutes is the norm. Here is my file. Bone stock 2008 Sky...
