Anyone have any idea. This also applies to the 1 bar OS (AKA speed density). Are the emissions functions affected with the aftermarket OS that hptuners develops.

Hello,
I am going to be putting a super charger on my father's car. But this car needs to pass Massachusetts inspection. Do these custom OS's that you guys have affect the emissions part of the...
Thank you so much for the help. This was the last piece of the puzzle to get my car going (2 yr long project)
My email is [email protected]. I sent it to [email protected] on Jan 11th. It should have several attachments to it. The subject to the email is "Transmission Segment Swap"
Thanks for the reply...
Tried that. I sent an email to the support email back in January to see if they could do it. I know they are busy, but a reply back would have been courteous.

I am probably going to have my friend who has unlimited 99's flash an auto tune onto my PCM and i'll license that tune.
When i had the dealer flash my computer once. the BCC # and VCM ID# were scrambled.
HPtuners reads the VCM ID for vehicle licensing. So getting a flash you run the risk of those numbers getting...
I concluded that HP tuners basis its single licensing off of the VCM ID #. If you compare the Vehicle ID # under the license info window and the VCM ID # under the calibration details they are the...
Can we keeps this on track. I purchased this unit off of this website, I can show you the receipt if you'd like. I am kind person and like to help my friends out and i do not have any credits left,...
Can I copy the auto stuff over with out doing a segment swap. Has anyone tried this. And if you can do this, can some one do a once over with the posted tunes.
And if a segment swap is cheaper...
I dont have the money to buy more credits.
So I have been doing some research, reading and been asking a few people questions.
I have heard that if I just copied over all the automatic stuff into my manual tune that it should work. I have...

So what do I need to do then. Why would this not work? Are the a4 PCMs physically different compared to m6 PCMs? Could I send in my file to get the A4 section put into it? I would like not to waste...
I have recently begun my m6 to 4l60e swap. I have gotten to the point where I have all of the inputs connected to the PCM physically (shifter selector selector switch and shift lock out and what not)...
Hello,
I have a few questions. So I have a 1999 m6 fbody. I have the standard version and not the pro-version of hptuners.
First off can I just get a stock A4 tune and copy the transmission...
Hmm, I played with this option this afternoon. I do not know if I had all the settings right. I have a 99 LS1 fbody nd my skip shift light did not go on when I tried setting everything up
Under...
So the skip shift light is the actual shift light?
How did you get it to work with the laptop plugged in?
I can host the pictures on my school website. Just send them to me. Just shoot me off an email or something.

Yea I know. I solved the OS issue. I just need to find time to run back to the dealer and get my PCM flashed for the second time.
But it did have those serial numbers. For some reason when they reflashed it they are now gone. Take a look at my_tune.hpt. They are obviously set in that file.
Okay, here is an update.
I went back to the dealership and I told them my problem. They all looked at me a little cross eyed. None of the GM tech there knew what a VCM ID # or BCC # was.
So...
