FWIW, I also have theft recovery enabled on my car and have had no problems whatsoever reading/writing to my VCM.

Like the title says. It would be great to be able to do this so we can place the "Advance" table next to the "Retard" table for quick comparisons.
Take a look at your "Airflow vs Output Frequency" table and compare the stock table to the MAFT one. I was told that altering this table from its stock values would affect timing.

:o Nobody knows this? ???
Guess I'll try some other boards and when I find out I'll be sure to post the answer here.
BBBBBbump.
You could try scaling the Injector Flow Rate vs KPA VAC table by 1.02 and see if your <2k LTFT's drop lower, but remember that this will lean out the A/F across the board. I think there is a way to...
I'm seeing some KR, but only on the highway while in 6th gear at low RPM (1600-1800). From what I understand it is normal to see some KR in high gear when the throttle is depressed.
My question...
On LS1.com from a post by jimmyblue.
If by "value" you mean LTFT#'s, I exported my datalogs to Excel, then did a "data sort" by Fuel Trim Cell and checked the LTFT's in each cell to find which ones drifted positive during steady-state...
Ok got it. Thank You Chris  .
Alright, since my PE value of 1.146 represents the PCM's mixture of choice (not counting COT), setting the COT MAX value at 1.138 should be invisible to the PCM during WOT. 8) Ill do that.
Chris,...
Cool, I wanted to make sure I'm on the right track. I'm going to leave my COT #'s alone for now (fear being the big motivator here :-/ ) and just shut it off at the Dyno or Track. If my WOT O2#'s...
Hey jimmyblue, how's it going? This is the problem you were helping me with (on LS1.com) a couple months back. Actually, I'm still running the same tune (using HPT to fine tune things) since my O2's...
OK, so in the PE table (above 800rpm), the values are all 1.146. So it would be Stoich, or 14.628/1.146=12.76:1 A/F ratio for PE.
In Openloop F/A vs ECT, all ECT's >140*F = 1.13 or higher. So...
Thanks Chris . I'll check those tonight. And since you didn't say that the AFvsOF changes are harmful, I'll leave them alone.
Maybe I'll write another tune using only the IFR to fix the...
Chris, I understand that. Here's my situation. The last time I had the car Dyno'ed (after receiving that tune) the A/F showed 11.9:1 on the wideband. Before that tune I could get my A/F to 12.8:1...
Are there any detrimental affects from richening closed loop A/F ratio using Airflow vs Output Freq. rather than rescaling the IFR's?
I ask because in a previous tune, the guy seems to have used...
Ok. Scaled the IFR by .985 and my problem LTFT's slid nicely into the - range, with Cells 4&5 never rising above -1.6% ;D. Average LTFT's for the log went from -2.51 (before) to -3.51.
Thanks for...
My mods are a K&N FIPK & SLP D/D Cat-back. My MAF may be slightly lean because when my last Predator Custom tune had my LTFT's in the -5 to -7% range, I smoothed (not polished) the MAF ends with some...
Viewing my logs, I can see that cells 4, 5, 9 & 13 are sometimes slightly positive (+0.8% to 0%) where as cells 1,8 & 12 (and the idle & coast cells) are consistently in the minus ranges during...
Great customer service? Absolutely!
I had a problem this afternoon while downloading an update off the server where it only downloads around half of the file, so I e-mail Keith and tell him the...
Welcome to the board . You may also want to find the thread in the lounge section titled "Introduce Yourself", where new members introduce themselves to the board members and give a little...
Keith, I checked the newest software on the Webserver and already have the latest version. I tried what Dave (TT_Vert) suggested above and was able to log, save & open the file successfully ....
