Is there anyway to control or disable anticipated shifts in the ZF8?
What are you looking for?
Thank you for responding and looking forward to learning more!
During WOT, the 'Aggression' or ShiftID did change from 8 to 3 with the smaller wheels.
With the stock wheels, ShiftID stayed at 8.
All four.
I'm using dragy for the timer.
The question would be when accel rate is less than 1 is there a power limiter or torque limiter?
Hey all!
Does the Accel Factor only help control what Aggression map you are in? Or does it also look at something else that limits power output?
For instance, I log on the same road for 1/4...
Upon installing the latest 4.12 version, VCM Editor/Scanner will not open. Right when I try to open either up, I can see that the 'vcmssm.dll' disappears from the C:\Program Files (x86)\HP Tuners\VCM...
Can any of you please add 'Launch Count' to your channels and see if you have a count?
Hey guys,
I asked Support to add 'Launch Counter' in the Channels section and it is now in the latest beta. Can any of you please add it to your channels and see if you have a count? My current...
Thanks! Yes, I added a ticket and they just added these tables in the latest beta for me last Friday. Were these already available to you before last Friday?
I am now asking Support why "Launch...
Hello,
I have a 2016 RS7 and can't log any shift schedules or tcu map modes to tell what map/schedule/aggression/shift patterns. All I see in my channels are 'TCC State Actual' and I believe all...
Are you sure that's all what was changed? I think we can all find out for sure if we can find a read.
Looking to see if anyone on here received the flash and we can see what was done.
Who here has gotten the 21N08 flash from Ford that is supposed to prevent the cam phasers from failing? I'm curious what was changed.
Downloaded from where?
Yup, that's what its called.
You can begin with why you don't recommend it and your reasoning instead of just saying you wouldn't recommend it.
If you hold the gas pedal down, then crank, it builds oil pressure...then you let...
Why don't you recommend it? I 100% do, especially if one DOES NOT have the rattle. This will help build oil pressure and help the locking pin from beating itself up and wearing out the locking...
To answer your specific question....no.
For the 02's and the catalyst to be ready, you need to complete the drive cycle. If you are back to stock, drive it until IM readiness is complete....
Right. It also may help from making it worse and prevent any further damage to the point where it starts throwing codes. Just my thought on this.
Are you saying that he now has the start up rattle as a result of unplugging the solenoid? EDIT: Never mind. Re-read your post.
There is a setting where you can force it to stay at whatever...
I believe this is the connector.
Edit: I can't seem to attach a pic....
I haven't tried it yet. I would have logged the oil pressure to see the behavior.
Thanks for checking. There is also a variable oil pump section where I think you can turn it off there as well. I'm investigating.
Yep, I'm seeing this complaint everywhere. There's a TCM update included in that flash which wrecks havoc on transmission shifting.
