Scaling the maff even by small numbers can effect many other components as he stated. We need to know exactly what...
I was thinking it may be scaled way off... seen this kind of thing before.
How much was the MAF scaled? 85mm Maf and what size intake?

I agree as well. I only use that table for VERY fine tuning (leaning) under low throttle, otherwise zero it out.
I read it directly off of a stock gtp... right before we put it in the crusher.

So I think we have determined that the VE table is more usefull in some circumstances other than for the event of a MAF Failure, thus the reason I have been doing it for my tunes for years! :D
Just zero'd out mine, and all it does is stall, while trying to get an idle. I was able to keep it running, but it was a bitch to make it even around the block. I will play more after work and send...
Don't know why yours is that way Bill.. Perhaps it is the bare minimum to keep the car running in the event of Maf failure?
