So are you just keeping the low end of the pilot tables active to have pilot on start? Thats really my goal is to have the truck start with pilot injection, my truck starts better cold that way

Same thing
It's weird. If you weren't looking at the log and just listening to the truck it sounds like it's running on a single injection event. Just rattling away
Fixed. Thanks for the heads up
On another note, zeroed out the density tables. Still didnt have the desired effect.
Didnt seem to work?
Ohhhhhhhh okay im going to go do that
If i understand this correctly to maintain pilot for cold start I CAN NOT zero out the density tables I have to use the correction table
So if i have every pilot table zeroed except for ECT adder, the one I want to use, its going to revert to zero because thats the least amount????
I did that. It still shows pilot injection in the second log
I zeroed out the Pilot PW table on this one. Started fine but the truck was already over 150* so im going to let it cool back down and see if I still have pilot for warm up.
Ive ran a single injection tune with every pilot table zeroed out and it runs great it just doesnt cold start very well. So im trying to allow pilot event during cold start and warm up
Did you ever get it straightened out?
Im trying to accomplish the same thing on my 04.5. I zeroed out the density tables for pilot and zeroed out all the adder and coeff tables except for ECT and...
I wonder if it can be changed in a software update or something
Do I have to write the entire calibration every time? It adds up at 10 minutes a pop when making small changes.
03-05 ECMs are WRITE only. Check out the sticky at the top of the page
