Remember I've never actually "tuned" and LS engine. But from what I've read, your idle spark should be AROUND 17-23 degrees. For cranking, the stock tables should work, adjust from there to find what...

Disclaimer: Most of my experience has been on tuning an l31 vortec, which is a gen 1 small block chevy. The tuning process is identical to gen 3 LS engines but the specifics (like ideal idle spark)...
We can't help you unless you post a log and tune file.
I was about to post the same link.
For OP: follow that guide. It'll get your idle just about perfect.
You can use lean cruise with hp tuners. Just change the platform type to V (holden), copy over your system options from gmt610 to v. Fill in the lean cruise tables. Write entire. Enjoy!
To my understanding, yes. I pulled up a .bin file matching your OS in Universal Patcher. I didn't see anything in a cursory glance, but I'll look deeper in a little while.
I've been through this before. Newer computers have a table for "DFCO delay", the old ones do not. Sorry but I'm 98% sure you're out of luck on this one
Gotcha, it wasn't zeroed out in the tune or log you posted and from the PIDs I can see it's the only thing adding airflow (besides AC Torque Loss which you don't want to mess with)

Might've bricked the ECU if your battery is old/kinda low. A fail during write entire will usually kill the ECU (or at least kill it enough that HP Tuners can't write to it). I'd put that battery on...
Try lowering the Throttle Cracker Airflow in the regions where the surging is happening. I think it's commanding too much airflow and kicking it out of DFCO (ENGINE->IDLE->AIRFLOW)
My truck never came with heated rear o2 sensors anyways. I'll give that a shot sometime. I haven't noticed it commanding lean outside of when I'm in lean cruise.
Yup, I tried this before he made his replay saying not to. It didn't make a difference. Probably the only way I see around it is to adjust the OLFA ever so slightly lean so it doesn't command stoich...
Duty cycle seems fine. Bank 2 is richer than bank 1, but both are still very lean.
You mentioned you got new injectors. Do you have the specs for those? Or a link to the website you bought them...
If that checks out. Can I see a log including injector duty cycle?
You definitely have a fueling problem, running stupid lean. In some spots it's adding up to 42% more fuel with fuel trims. The only places fueling looks normal is at idle and on decel. Nothing in...
Gotcha. Thanks for the information
I might try enabling the codes. I don't believe the post cat O2 wiring is even in the harness anymore.
Honestly, it's just annoying more than anything. Once I re-enable DFCO it won't make a difference anyways. At this point the only reason I'm not going back to the 0411 PCM is because I don't have an...
Interesting. I'll have to look into that more but it makes sense. I just recently did the P59 swap and I'm using a 2005 Mexican truck operating system. I was hoping to eventually get the truck back...
Here's my scanner layout as well, in case anyone wants to use it

I was doing some lean cruise tuning today and noticed that the tune is commanding rich (eq~.948) when throttle is approaching or at 0 and decelerating. I've looked through my tune file and can't find...
Well it won't let me save changes to the tune file, so here's exactly what I'd change:
1st tune file:
o Throttle cracker enable speed: 255 mph
o Throttle cracker disable speed: 254 mph
o...
Got a chance to take a peak at it.
I noticed a couple things:
o Your DFCO entry vehicle speed it pretty high, not a factor in this log but I would personally drop the speed down to something...
Can you post a log file along with the timestamps of when you want DFCO to trigger?
I need to see these values:
Throttle position
Engine rpm
Vehicle Speed
Equivalence Ratio Commanded...
His truck doesn't have canbuss...
