ok, got the motor put back together and running. no codes and it idles down ok(you can tell its trying to die but it never does). it took reverse fine but when i put it in drive it wouldnt take gear...

Ill try it with the stock tune. If it wont idle on its own then ill load up the parameters that SRT8 posted and go from there. Im pulling it in monday so hopefully i can post results by saturday...

I havent got the motor built yet, ive been playing catch up at work and plan to start on it next week. ill keep everything thats been said in mind and let you know what happens.

Oh, and as for the pushrod length, the VVT motor doesnt require to change pushrods. Only the non VVT rods need to be different
