Thank you
I told the customer to swap over his 2018 L83 airbox, map, maf and injectors.
I see the L84 uses a different high pressure fuel pump, is it sufficient to transfer over the pump related values...
Hi, a shop is asking me to reflash the 2018 ecu after installing a 2020 5.3 which left them with a bunch of codes. They said they used all the hardware off the 2020 such as map, maf, injectors,...
Ah ok I understand, thank you again.
If you're in Maf mode with the gen 4 e38 2 bar OS, is the GMVE based VE table in that custom OS referenced during hard throttle transients?
Again, I'm not asking for anyone to recommend the...
Tuning a 2008 Silverado 4.8 with a 76 mm turbo.
If I put it in Maf-only mode with this 2bar OS (we get a 1024 g/s Maf extension with that 2bar OS), would it reference the new VE tables "Normal...
Thank you for the replies, I will adjust the scanning rate.
I thought I initially selected "generic sensor" but that wasn't the case. There was only one option for fuel pressure on the low pressure side.
Maybe it's a scanner bug after all, I'll try out a specific channel and see if it helps tomorrow.
Hi, I recently got into these c7s and on a 2019 c7z06 I was scanning, I noticed the low pressure side's "fuel pressure" channel was bouncing around a lot.
At a steady speed the "fuel pressure...
For that intake manifold, go to Engine, Airflow, Speed Density, and Manifold Volume should be on the left hand side. Enter in 16.387 L
Almost seems like you need a new tuner if he is leaving you with details he should be dealing with.
Very interesting, is your iat sensor in the intake manifold?
Thanks
No worries, I'd start with the factory values in your tune and then when we get a reply about zeroing it out, then we can deviate from the factory values. I started another thread in hopes of getting...
Question for you guys that have had consistent fueling with positive displacement superchargers combined with either P01 or P59 ecus, with an iat sensor in the lid.
Are you zeroing out the...
Hopefully someone can shed light on the "Bias" table for cylinder charge when using a gen 3 ecu combined with a positive displacement supercharger with the iat sensor in the lid.
On factory PD...
I will invest in the manual for next time after this fiasco, I appreciate the help.
Thank you kindly! Everything I found yesterday on google for ls3 map sensor wiring was steering me wrong.
2000 Camaro Ls1 with Ls9 supercharger. I'm having issues when using an LSA 3 bar map sensor with an LS1 harness and PO1 ecu despite the proper 3 bar linear and offset entered in. This is with the 3...
It worked! The recipe is:
No error reported but keep ses enable checked for p1626 1629 1630 1631
You're welcome, I'm using version 4.8.7
That use to be the case but with HPT versions from last year or so, I've been saving without licensing and I have an mpvi1. Only have to license when you flash
I believe the key here was to keep "SES Enable" checked on the 4 anti-theft codes, I'll confirm in a few days after trying this out.
You can save files without licensing them now, I forget what version of HPT this started to be available on but you now only need to license before flashing.
You're welcome!
Just to confirm, if you are simply buying new o2 sensors to replace the existing upstream narrowbands, yes if that is what you are asking.
If you are asking about a wideband...
