I'm not sure how that tune is even working. Try the stock tune and datalog it just sitting in the driveway. Add to you log "Final Timing Correction Reason".
Yep you should switch back. That timing map is better suited for a 2100-2200us tune not 3000. If you had an egt gauge you would have answered your own question
Are you on stock injectors? 30 degrees is alot for 2400us.
For tow I'm usually between 2000us-18* up to 2200us-22* stock injectors.
Well don't just copy that 34* and run it
Timing needs to be based on what pulse width your actually running and rpm. He's at 3000us and 29.5* @3000 rpm which is near a 55% split.
You're...
What is the actual error saying.
Get a good log of when you're feeling the lag to see if everything is working properly. Rail pressure etc...
Running stock tune? What turbo and elevation.
Disconnect both batteries and wait an hour. While waiting hook them up to a battery charger.
Pull the fuel pump relay when flashing a tune. Have the computer connected to the obd port but turn the...
On my 03 the Torque CRV limit is from hitting the max value in the pedal map. Increase your max value to 160. It will still hit it but shouldn't be a limiter at that level.
What size injectors did you have again?
Your pilot fuel tables are different between the two. Did you swap those also or just the main timing tables?
Low rpm/turbo spool smoke? Does it run...

Thanks Jim I was looking for this also!
Do you have a tune to post? Did you have a good tune before the injectors?
Keep your PW table stock and just adjust the 80 or 100mm3+ for now.
With my BBI stage 1's I had 1700us with 18*...
Master fuel correction reason is telling you some of the limiters you are still hitting. BLF--Baro etc... But the limiters are probably saving you from yourself :D
Your timing map is more than...
Take a look at the adder tables and adjust them accordingly. There are a few tables. I wasn't talking about what the VCM was showing. Oem top -- Adjusted bottom ....

For a general street/tow I'd drop your max rail pressure from 25.4k back down to max stock.
Early common rails had some funky pilot timing adder tables. If you look through them you'll see some...
Thanks for this Jim, i was just about to ask in the smoke limit thread where you mentioned it earlier.
Good Info, What is the name of the table or where is it located for the 03/04? Thanks!
On the 03 it's just one tune with limiters in place. Look at the baro limiter A and B. Then the switch is tricking the baro sensor to switch between the baro ranges. Limiting overall fueling. So...
I was just tinkering with this and using Jims VP tune on a switch so I could try a few different things for testing. But I didn?t get much data before my transfer case decided it was time for a...
Wonderful lol, that's actually the only one i could find. It shared the same timing, rail pressure, boost limited fueling and pulse width as your excel sheet you posted earlier so i just assumed it...
Not sure if this is the actual one Jim mentioned but it might give you some ideas. Use it as a reference only don't direct copy and run it.

Jim - Could I use your VP example numbers in my 03 or is there too many differences. I haven't had a chance to play with a VP tune so i was interested. Thanks! 03-Stock Injectors/cp3.
Did you have a previous version of this tune that works correctly or did you just make all of these changes?
I just glanced briefly but you only changed your transient timing table all other...
