If you do all of the above you should have no problems. I never do a write on the side of the road when street tuning. I do it in my driveway..Its only a push away if i run into problems...Flat...

Just licenced my 98 corvette..made some timing changes and tryed to do a "write calibration" and the error message says "Brickable". I have flashed lots of gen3 computers and it has never said...

How do I turn the STFT off when setting up to put computer into SD mode and tuning the VE table....

Updated to 4.xx. from 3.36. Now there are PID's missing when using scanner standalone..went back to 3.36 and scanner PID's are back...looks like a bug in 4.xxx. sticking with 3.36...

Have a 2008 GMC 5.3l.
Tryed to read the truck with Version 3.6 HP tuners.
It looks like it read the file but got this error at the end of the download.

How do you reset the LTFT when using the remote data logger or no laptop connected when recording..It seems to keep data from the last log...

99-02 is a P01 controller and the 03-06 is a P59 controller..
Any clarification would be appreciated ..

Ya I have made one...but you haven't said how to tell if the controller P59 has the o2 self test feature..

Is there a way to look at the P59 controller using HP tuners before I start reworking the harness...

On a P59 computer... how can you tell if the rear O2's are needed..
What year did they start doing the cat test???
If im doing a harness I want to be sure I leave the rear cat wires there..

Do I use "Write Calibration" or "Write Entire"..
HPTuners defaults to "Write Calibration".

When should you use "Write Entire" ???

Have a computer, harness from 2002 Escalade 6L 4l65, drive by wire.
Operating system OS12209203.
I want to convert to 4L80.
There is no system swap that I can use.
GM never put a 4L80 behind a 6L...
