if i wanted to run a 5.7 hemi from a 2011 ram, 65rfe on a engine dyno. would there be a way to set up the ecu to ignore the security features and transmission?
similar to what you might do for a...
it will be under the TCC lockup section. you'll have to try to understand all the parameters and what they mean.
post your tune and when i get some time ill have a look
what's the freeze frame data show. my guess is the converter clutch is NOT locking 100% due to the new friction material being not broken in. which is throwing it into limp mode.
the solution...
full lock to partial lock needs to be set at 0 as well i think of the top of my head. ill post my tune soon on here so you can copy the paramaters over and try it
you need set all the partial to full lock rpms to 0. and also have a 100% throttle table for everything, including the unlock tables.
post your tune file and ill look at it and see if i can find it
Hi,
Im tuning a 2011 5.7 with a cam, and i noticed the Map timing table adjustment seems wacked.
It seems like either side of 100kpa on the stock file is pulling timing. however wouldn't you...
I got it working. i just had to add some tables for WOT to the torque converter TPS % column.
it does seem like there is still something not allowing lockup until the slip is under a certain...
I got it working. i just had to add some 100% throttle tables. if anyone needs help with this just let me know.
didnt need to use the 66rfe settings, and frankly im not even sure it makes any...

HI,
:cool:I have a 2011ram 1500 5.7 I'm tunning. The torque convorter will not lock at WOT no matter what I do to the tables.
What would happen if I select 66rfe instead. I noticed none of the...
when i said they stall at 2300, thats a 5.7 hemi. the 6.4 pushes harder against the convorter in that situation, reaching close to a 2600rpm stall
the 6.4 will stall at 2400-2600rpm WOT at sea level on the 6 speed on a stock tune. if its only reaching 2000rpm, and the dropping from their, then something is cutting power like crazy, or something...
what kind of rpms are you getting? if its around 2300rpm, its simply all shes got in a stall condition.
i am very interested in what can be done with WOT lockup on a 545rfe/65rfe. i cant seem to get mine working
only the 4.7 ho had knock sensors. want to tune with no knock sensors? you'll need to use your ears, and do multiple timed runs 30-80mph or whatever. or use a dyno , and advance the timing untill it...
well i cant speak for the nag 1 directly, but generally, a 4000 stall your going to want it to lock up at WOT on the top end to reduce slip and gain MPH at the track.
your also going to want it...
Hi,
I just ordered my HP tuners, and I'm pretty familiar with how to use it, I have a 2012-5.7/545rfe hemi swapped 71 roadrunner + (75shot) I tuned A year ago using a friends HP tunners, and a 2011...
