I've had my swap running for a few weeks now, and I've got an issue where the trans is dropping into neutral - either when pulling away from a stop, or on the downshift when accelerating.

Never mind think I figured it out. It's pin 59 yellow wire "powertrain relay control". Annoyingly I think I removed that pin, so it's trickyer than it should be, but at least I know what I'm doing...

I bought an obd gear indicator, and everything seemed ok on that so I'm guessing the scanner was just showing invalid for park while at...
6l80e using a lokar shifter - In vcm scanner my shift status goes: park, reverse, invalid, d6, d5.
"Invalid" seems to work as drive fine (goes up and down through the gears).
Is this normal?

OK I've got it going! I'd wired the fuel pump backwards, so although I could hear it running I was in reverse.
It's still running a little rough so I'll try setting the map back to something...
actually scratch that - I reset the scanner, added a few more channels for injectors and crank, and now i think i see injectors attempting to fire and map sitting at about 100. could someone check...
ok still no joy - i tried first with just disabling the p1631. didnt change anything.
then tried copying in the ve tables from 05 corvette - still nothing.
I've also ran a couple more ground...
the ve table from an 05 corvette has about half the values that the ecalade does, and he increments are different - not ure how to populate the e38 table from it!?
