The scanner does always show 158. I dont think its translating both ways other than the pedal input. The cluster, abs, electric power steering all use CANbus. Now that Im thinking about it, that is...
Im not sure how, but my speedometer works. The brz cluster runs off of CANbus and wiring specialties, the company that makes the swap harness, has a translator so all the functions in the brz still...
This is the differences between the 2 from the data sheet. I have the data, might as well use the right ones. Yeah maybe 1% difference. IDK I will see what happens. The vacuum line to the regulator...
I took the data sheet for the ID1000s and copied the 400kpa offset from that, and pasted it to the whole table.
I think I screwed up that offset table again. Im running 58psi base pressure. Thats 400kpa. I copied 408kpa through the whole table.
Could I flash a MT 2010 camaro tune to my ecu?
Well I made the necessary changes to the injector offset. Things dont go as haywire. But I still feel im working against something. Possibly something to do with ECT because the car can fluctuate...
Got it, that would make sense. What about the select offset dropdown. Vacuum or MAP. Not sure what that means.
So for return style what am I supposed to use in that table? I copied the injector dynamics data, didnt know it needed to be different for a referenced/return style
The VVE is scaled to 315kpa though. And yes I shouldve just gone with a MT Camaro ecu. I didnt know any of this when I was sourcing parts.
See Ive been getting conflicting info about PE. I thought the VVE has to be tuned to stoich and PE adds on top of it. So how would I tune boost to stoich. So I disabled it and was going to tune the...
Yes I?m using a magnum t56 and I am running a return system with a reference regulator. I?ll have to look at the offset table
Here is the tune file
Be advised it is VERY crude. I just got the swap going and was trying to dial in fuel before anything else.
It was from a 4.8 and I copied over everything from a 5.3 to it...
Ive about had it with this crap. I have been chasing my tail all week, spent many hours getting nowhere.
I have an LS swapped BRZ. It is a 5.3 HO with a decent sized cam (Comp Cams 54-477-11)...
So here is a snapshot of the ecu I am working with on my ls swapped BRZ. Its a later e38 with the higher injector limits. I am currently tuning the VVE table but have always wondered why I dont have...
Great, I will probably buy that course soon. So would you say the pic I posted is on the right track?
Thanks
Stock OS from a 2010 Van I believe. Didn?t have any custom OS?s available for it.
You mean like in the pic?

Hey everyone, Im starting to tune my turbo LS swapped BRZ and need some input on the VVE zones.
I have a 5.3 with a 7875 turbo, a decent cam, ID1000s and dorman intake manifold. I was wondering...
Turns out I have the later year E38 with the higher injector limit. I noticed I don?t have the option for the 2BAR OS. It?s sourced from a 2010 Silverado 4.8l fleet vehicle apparently. Do I need to...
Ideally it would be a late model ecu because it has the higher hard coded injector limit than the earlier ones correct?
This is a gen4 engine by the way.
Hey everyone, new to the forum and HPTuners. Early this summer I will be completing a 5.3L turbo ls swap in my 2016 Subaru BRZ. I have an E38 ECU. As of right now I don?t have the tune file that?s on...
