Yeah, EU car but the tune comes from a US car. I do recall a forum member with an EU car from another forum having done it, but i'm not sure how, and i can't find who it was for the life of me.

Got it! Progress! It now no longer says "unlicensed vehicle". It does now say however "write even though operating system ID's are different"
What are the chances of it going horribly wrong?

Are you sure about the difference of pin out? The ecu hardware numbers are the same. Not saying you?re wrong, just need to be absolutely sure myself.

Agreed completely! In my case especially i wanted the Ford Power Pack 2 strategy for its OEM drive-ability and great reviews, but its not available for non-US vehicles, so my only choice was HP...

Kind of defeats the point of the repository, and in some respects, the affordability and flexibility of HPTuners. I'm sure its written in the small print somewhere, but honestly, had it been clearer...

So if i read this correctly, if i get sent a tune from someone else, or download it from the repository i need a total of 6 licenses to actually load it on my car? That sounds a bit much!

Ok, so i've managed to het my hands on two PP2 tune files, but they were for a 2015 GT and a 2016 GT, and it seems they are not compatible with my 2017 PCM as I've got extra tables in HP tuners that...

And just to triple check. This is definitely the power pack 2 from ford performance. Then one that usually comes with the CAI and throttle body, but no manifold?
