You guys ever get anywhere with this?
They did not have it stock, but the GMPP Upgrade implemented NLS. So, your upgrade would also implement NLS...very cool.
What about the Solstice/Sky crowd?
Not strictly...is that to suggest that your kit tune would include the NLS feature?
I am not sure, but I do not think they are actually using the GMPP calibration. It is probably their own tune that utilizes the 3 bar MAP sensor.
It looks like WERKS has capitalized on my idea:

I am sure they work okay, but they are not the same...at least not what I have on the Ford and GM injectors I compared to. I know nothing about Honda injectors, though. I will see if I can find...
Where does GM say to do that?

You can buy a pack from McMaster Carr, send a buck to Dejon and they will send you two, or shoot me an address and I will send you two.
...
Anyone make any progress on this? I was kinda hoping to hear some more success stories out of it.
If anyone here needs o-rings, I can mail you two. I bought a package from McMaster Carr.
According to the instruction sheet, without. There is another one under the Solstice, but the number does not match up to anything.
That is exactly what I did:

Snip the stock connector off, crimp the new pins on, assemble them into the new...
NO, the calibrations are different:

The guys in this thread are doing some...
Repining a connector typically means moving the pins around, not replacing them. The difference between destroying the stock pins to pull them off, and cutting the stock harness: about an inch. ...
The pins are different between the old and new sensors.
At least we got that sorted out.
Also keep in mind that larger o-rings are needed for the new sensor to fit snug in the hole. I have plenty extra I can send if necessary, as well as Dejon being...
I do not know about that part number. The original one I have is 5140331AA , with the new one being 68031593AA.
Not anymore...the old part number has been superseded by the new number I gave, which is about $85.
Damn...I mixed something up somewhere.
However, we do know now that the Jeep CRD sensor is the same as the VW sensor, and it is sold through Summit.
This one?

That is not the same sensor.
Yes, the 2008 Solstice/Sky and HHR show as possibly having the brake-booster, which doubles the number of calibrations. I am more than happy to help folks out with this, although I only have the '09...
Between the Sky and the Solstice, it appears that all four manual transmission GMPP calibrations are available. The 2009 one has been submitted, but not posted yet. That leaves all four automatic...
So, where are you in PA?
So...do I get a beer? :chug: ;)
