Current stable and after looking at a couple other tunes I have, it might just be the diesels that keep some parameters greyed out?

Are people still having issues with this? I updated HPTuners yesterday, have done the course, etc. and parameters are still locked for me. I'm restarted everything a couple times now

That?s unfortunate but not surprising considering what happened to your ECM.

Why was the ECM having issues if you just read it?

I could probably attempt a read from a 2017 2500.

Disabling CEL will typically do only that, it won't change how the ECM reacts to the issue it's seeing.

Just an FYI, HP Academy has a practical tuning module on a 2017 F350 Power Stroke. The videos are done by Nick from Duramax Tuner. He aims to get 80 rwhp out of it.

On my 2002 1500 I had no issues with the TIPM until I put a new alternator on. All hell broke loose - no fuel pump and a lot of BCM related stuff - One headlight, one foglight, dash doing weird...

Almost sounds like TIPM symptoms.
