Thanks that cleared a lot up for me. Frost did the mail order tune and the injector data is a little different than what was posted above. Not sure if he noticed In my notes that I was indeed using...
If you would have read my original question "My Injector Flow Rate vs. KPA VAC with a vacuum fuel pressure regulator at the rail..." you could have saved us both a lot of typing by answering "YES" :D
So the Injector Flow Rate vs. KPA VAC data for a return and non return system is the same?
Thanks for this info :)
I have the Gen4 (12613412) injectors (58psi) in a Gen3 LQ9 (2000 Sierra) and my mail order tune injector numbers are very different than what you've posted. My Injector...
No you just press stop recording on the HPTuner device, remove from the OBDII then connect with any computer that has the VCM software. Open the scanner > Vehicle > MVPI Pro Data Logging > Get Info >...

Welcome to my nightmare!
I also have a 2000 GMC V6 truck to V8 and swapped the ECM to a 0411 too. I sent the computer out for a mail order tune by a well known and established tuner. He flashed it...
Trying to standalone data log with the MPVI Pro. It records for a few minutes then it will error out with the flashing red light and the data is lost. The ECM is a P01 and I'm running the latest Beta...
Thanks for the reply... right now I'm in limbo with this darned tune. Spent $200 in credits on advice from another tuner and HPT Support. I still can't write anything to the ECM. I've spent $1050.00...

Just getting started myself. Another member sent me a channel and layout list that helped me a lot. But like you said different preferences.
On the laptop > Connected to Vehicle > MPVI Pro data logging > Write Config > Press Record > Drive > Press Stop
It only shows a few things on the list and the chart.

Thanks guy's that one had me scratching my head... I guess I'm still in the distributor state of mind.
I have a 2000 GMC Sierra that was swapped from a V6 to a LQ9 6.0 with a 411 ECM.
Is there any reason someone would set the firing order like this...
3187254 instead of 1872543 ? ? ?

Thanks you are a great help !
Don't care about the V6 VIN at all. Frost has a great reputation so I figured what he said about changing the mismatched VIN was gold. I'm new to this and it's easy to get confused. I'm old and this...
New user got the HP Tuners today and changed the VIN as directed by Steve Williams (Tuned By Frost) and somehow I've lost the two credits I just purchased. When I try to flash a file I get "vehicle...
I was successful changing the VIN without loosing credits.
Why would Frost (Steve Williams) say WARNING: "VIN/OS Pair Mismatch detected" and I need to change the VIN. My concern is in using the VIN tools it's going to eat up credits? It's easy to tell I've...
Thanks for the reply... So I can't change the VIN to the one Steve flashed for the mail order tune. I don't need the original V6 VIN on this truck as my state dose not require emission inspections....
How many credits needed to change the VIN in the above scenario... anyone?
Same here... new member and my post as yet to be approved
I have the new MPVI2 on the way to start tuning my 2000 GMC 6.0L
I'm concerned about the mail order VIN that has been flashed to the PCM, well actually concerned about wasting the credits on the...
