Is it not lean compared to the desired? Wouldn't this cause an idle surge? Especially in cooler temps?
It never goes into closed loop as it is not enabled. Compare the desired to the actual Lambda and you can see the lean condition.
Blindsquirrel responded to a post of mine about this earlier this year and I couldn't find the thread. I just found it. The lean condition isn't just over 1.0 lambda, it is higher than commanded...
I was just asking of this lean condition from the rear oxygen sensors can be tuned by using the initial adders and decay delay. I wasn't asking for you to inspect my tune file and see what I need to...
So, I have been told this is due to not having rear O2 sensors. Can this be tuned out (ish) by using Cold Warmup After Start initial adder and decay delays? I have been fighting this lean condition...
I have an update. I rebuilt the transmission and got it back in. I went to drive it and didn't make it out of the driveway before the grinding noise returned. I was datalogging at the time which...
Well this is where it is at now. I would like to fix the hesitation but it is kinda hard to tune VE when I can't even move the car.
It is not the brake switch from the escalade but it does work the same way. I am planning on working on the VE however when I got the engine running and was able to move the car in the driveway I...
I replaced the gaskets and retested the intake and now have a good seal. I did get it running after this and am getting a pretty bad hesitation when hitting the throttle.
So I was worried about a vacuum leak while I was cranking it over and it starting as lean as it was. I also noticed the it was idling at 65kPa on the MAP sensor. I brought the smoke machine home with...
The only code set is a self induced P0103. You can see in the data log that the TPS moves with the APP.
Well, I inputted the injector data and put the tune in and now it is so lean cranking that I could only get it to start and stay running 1 time. This time again I could not get the engine to rev with...
Yeah, I was thinking that but I mostly have just made changes to base air flow, based off of other people that have the 408 setup and had been running it. That stuff helped me get it running and stay...
I understand completely. I am constantly arguing with our service writers because they get suck poor information from customers. I will get this data put in and programmed tonight and run a log and...
yes, it is running at 58psi. That is why I added the inline was to verify that it was otherwise why add a gauge? This isn't a civic where you add gauges because it is "cool". I am at work for another...
I added an inline gauge.
If this is correct for my fuel system, I will program it tonight and see what happens. Thanks for the help.

It has been a year since I added the data that I found. I was just looking back through it and I couldn't have gotten the data from a stock vehicle file. I don't know where I got that data. What do I...
I used GM PN 12609749. I looked up what vehicle they would have came on and copied the injector data from a stock file I got from the repository.
I will give you the build first. This is a new built 408ci stroker. It has a BTR stage 4 400ci+ camshaft in it with some LS3 heads. I am running a drive by wire setup with the adapter for 8 to 6 pin...
Is there a way to add fuel at that point to reduce it? I removed the rear sensor wiring 2 years ago when I installed this setup and no longer have the old stuff. and it is too much of a pain int the...
I am running a 6.0L with the Honey Badger cam. I have upgraded the springs, push rods and lifters. I have 34lbs injectors, a TBSS intake and shorty headers. When I start the engine, It runs great...
Here is another one that went way lean after startup.
