Just an idea but could you not compare the sock 2012 tune with the one in the car and revert the differences? It would be safer than writing a complete tune.

Thanks for posting this, I had the same issue and deleting the os file was the fix that worked.
It will work if it wasn't locked or a CustomOS was used.
You will need credits to save changes or write to the vehicle.
Any increase in MPG after the street tune?
Just noticed the PE Add vs. RPM that modifies the base AFR. at 4800 to 6400 it's -1.800 so total commanded AFR in PE is 13.8 + -1.8 = 12.0
Be aware of that table 'cause it will have a major effect...
Again, I'm not speaking from V6 experience, just brainstorming ideas...
I meant the WOT area of the VE table but my point was to compensate for that by adjusting the PE.
Looking a the PE it's...
I'll give you my take on it but maybe someone with more V6 experience knows better.
AE modifies the fuel under certain conditions.
"Filtered TPS" will used smoothed TPS data instead of the...
"WOT disable" will turn off AE if it's enabled.
Anyone else's tune is not going to work for you.
Start with your stock tune, copy injector data, watch knock closely, set PE to 11.5, and SD tune with wideband...
And they had to do a study?
It could have been just an excuse to drive a Porche down a road where no one was watching them.. :secret:
Double check the stock tunes from the repository, I have found that some are not stock.
I can see running the applications (editor and scanner) not being an problem. However I'm interested if there are any special instructions installing the MPVI drivers? Do you have to have MPVI...
I did the same swap, didn't have an issue with the gauge reading incorrectly, maybe double check the sending wires.
I did have an DTC which I had turn off.
Maybe the battery voltage was down?
ok, I'll try to answer this one...
1) Your going to void your warranty.
2) someone else's tune is not going to match your truck. Don't write entire from a different vehicle.
3) if you have...
How did you make out?
I understand that changing the engine size will scale the entire VE table, it's not required but better to do so.
Also make sure you have correct size info for your fuel...
I would think that is easily adjusted in the gauge properties.
Can't verify 'cause HPT is not on the computer I'm using right now.
I think generally you can get away without tuning when the car only has lid and cat-back exhaust. Headers require tuning, IMO.
Looks great, But I have to ask, what new tuning features are in 2.24 and (of course) when will it be available?
What about tuning the idle and part throttle first, put a few hundred miles on the engine, then tuning WOT? Good idea?
I wish HPTuners worked with Linux, Ubuntu is awesome, very easy to use.
My understanding is that it is normal. The DIC cannot communicate with the PCM during a write and sometimes shows random errors. Everything is ok again after the write finishes.
Chris, the reason why I replaced it was because it failed during a write, was having some battery problems, after that car wouldn't start, HPTuners unable to locate VCM, removed it and car parts...
I have a 98 Corvette which I just replaced the PCM with a newer one (02).
The HPTuners license is based on PCM serial number not just the VIN number programed into it.
You cannot flash a 97-98 OS...
