6-speed.
Hmmm .... the button trick might be a valid workaround.
I've tried setting the P/N rev limiters, but it doesn't work. If I set the P/N rev limiters at 3,000 RPM, then no matter what...
I'm looking forward to the release. I just hate that since I was one of the early adapters for getting on the HPT bandwagon ... and the *ONE* featue I've been wanting (the ability to compare...
Just wondering if anyone found a reliable way to use the rev limiters vs. gear selection to make a functional 2-step for launching at a desired RPM.
One guy claims to have made it work on his car,...
That's a riot! I LOVE IT!
Just remember to upload the correct tune before you try to leave the airport when you get back. ;)
Anyone?
Anyone ever have any luck getting this to work for us T56 / LS1 guys?
New speed shop opening in Memphis, TN. The owners are very interested in travelling to a location for an HP Tuners class.
It could probably be done with the perf/normal switch settings. Just a guess, but that's where I would start.
LS2 intake has the sensor mounts relocated as the LS2 engine has them in different spots. Your TB will be tilted slightly up, and there is no mounting for the throttle cable as the LS2 is...
Pocket PC ... it's much more powerful than the PalmOS (IMHO)
It would probably be easier for you, also since you're going from a Windows platform to another "Windows" platform.
Besides, it's...
That rocks!
I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about how this stuff works. I'm learning as I go (hey, we've all got to start somewhere)
While sitting in the staging lanes last night at the...
Dave, how about flying them in Friday night, having the session all day saturday, and then flying them back Sunday night. At least that way they would get a chance to hit the beach for a while.
I never could get it to work. My RPMs were limited to the P/N setting, even in gear and off the clutch.
I would think that if the switch was goofed up, then the car wouldn't start. Also, it did it on two different 2001 WS6 cars, with 2 different software/cable setups on the 2 laptops.
Keith? You...
That's what I ***WANT*** it to do. However, on 2 different cars, using 2 different HPTuners cables/software, it does the same thing.
I am limited to whatever value I enter in the marked P/N...
OK, I give up. I've tried changing the values shown in these images, and it does the same thing on 2 different cars. Changing one or the other, or both ... same thing. Clutch in / clutch...
It's different on the T-56 tranny.
Quasar, you've got this working on the T-56 tranny? I guess I'll try it again.
I tried it today on a 2001 WS6, 6-speed ... it didn't work right.
We went into the RPM vs Gear and set the P/N rev limiter to 2000 with re-enable at 1990. No matter what, the rev limiter was 2000....
AHHHH .... I gotcha. I'll change that and see what happens.
I'm in Bowling Green at the Camaro / Firebird Invasion. If anyone is around, look me up. I'm in the Black WS6. ;D
OK, where are you guys setting this? I set my P/N rev limit to 3000, with the re-enable at 2990. I've got the M6 tranny and want to launch at 3,000 RPM.
When I'm sitting still, shifter in neutral...

Beats me. ??? I'm just going by what K&N and Holley tell us.
Well, my HP Tuners should arrive next week (just in time for Bowling Green!) so I'll play around with it and see if it's livable for doing a launch at the track.
With my non-sticky tires, I...
