it woudl be great if you just sent a message between programs and took care of this.... lol
i know exactly what you want...
the only shop i know that does that sort of thing, and would have the female 98 connectors to make it a actual plug swap would be speartech.. someone else might also...
you can cross up the pinouts, swap coolent sensors and get it done.
but noone makes an off-the-shelf solution.
its not so much that no engine is identical... its that there are always variances from car to car.
for example, my stock 02 LS1 is almost the same as a stock 99 ls1... but if you throw a stock...
ah, gotcha, i must have missed that part.
im not in a hurry.. i still have my version 1 software too, so i can always use that for the CASE learn.
according to the customer login, i only have version 2.0.17 available right now.....
that link needs to be updated.... :(
no.
that was sonys success..
back before the playstation came out, everyone thought the idea of sony making a game platform was a joke... Nintendo and Sega were the ones to beat..
but...
lol, i know what you're making... :p
" is the same thing as "
so in the post you quoted above, it said:
the LTFT value is still "learning".....
theres always small problems like that when swapping boards, but now that...

you know, it would be really cool if there was a cheap, sub $100 device that could log and flash..... then someone could say... log their car, email the log to someone with HPtuners.. the tuner could...
thanks...
hey, on pin 34 of the blue connector... the "Neutral Safety Switch Signal"... does that goto ground or what? i dont have a GM manual for a 4thgen, or id look it up myself.
ttt.
i cant seem to figure out how... ideas?
if you could, that'd be great...
i tried grounding the pin 32 on the blue connector... ( gray wire.. suppost to be clutch pedal position switch)..
i was watching HPtuners and it still showed it...
ok, i have this idea, similar to what some other cars have done.
i want a 2step on this car..
right now, my PCM always thinks its in 4th gear..
i need a way to make it think its in...
ugh, after alot of trouble, i just figured out that i wasnt getting a firm CONSTANT connection to #47. doh!
pin 47 works.
i still have a followup question... how do i install a pin to...
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
it is not:
pin 47 on the red connector.
pin 48 on the red connector.
pin 46 on the red connector.
pin 79 on the blue connector
neat thread.
heh, so i can find it again:
2step 2 step revlimiter
soooo... lets say i add a clutch up switch to my 02 fbody setup (i currently dont use one) and i add a button inline...
spark tables
injector tables
all over the place... rescaling it would not be a simple job.
ah, heres a great question.
for decades, the Y-body has been corvette only.
but now, theres a caddy based on the vette chassis...... therefore... isnt it a Y-body too? ;D
yea.. im familar with his site...
thats how i built this stock injector table for all the Fbody years(look in link)...
theres more about what im thinking about doing here:...
