Or how would the engine at altitude accelerate with only sea level idle airflow?
So if it is the same amount of airflow(throttle closed idle at sea level, 75kpa 800rpm and wot at 8000' elevation, 75 kpa, 800 rpm) why would the engine accelerate quickly at altitude, but stay at...
I will clear up my question. So 75kpa at idle (800 rpm) at sea level, is the same (or less considering a density correction) amount of air flowing as it would be when I'm at WOT (800 rpm )at 8000' ft...
Trying to add this again.

Decided to map TPS vs MAP vs RPM to show the difference in TPS at altitude. I believe it shows that Alpha N, or "combo with SD" (or even MAF) will be superior for my application if intend to change...
It's the ZR1 map sensor. Verified characteristics from ZR1 map. It output jives with my 3 bar boost gauge. Car runs awesome at tuned altitude. I think the problem is lo vac at idle, so 75 kpa site....
Nope, stock ls6 manifold. I really think its the size of cam/ lack of vacuum screwing things up
Stock LS6 Throttle Body.
So the more I look into what is happening at altitude, I really think I need a "VE Multiplier vs. TPS vs. RPM table" that is offered with the 1 bar SD OS. I think if that was tuned in properly, I'd...
I'm going to log Baro sensor value and VE correction to see if that is doing anything.
I'm working mostly in my normal cruise areas and got this lambda % error with the low alt map.

Is it an actual separate sensor, or a value derived from the MAP sensor?
Yes, I know ultimately I'll end up with aftermarket stuff to get all the features. I'm leaning Haltech 2500, or Nexus to future proof my needs, but would also consider Dominator.
Haltech does...
There is no separate baro sensor. I'm using LS9 3 bar MAP sensor. I assume the only way pcm would know baro is that it would take the reading from map at KOEO for initial, then possibly recal the...
Sure, I did get to some new spots, but a lot of them I did see before. It's that I didn't have as much (or any) load on the engine. After adding in all that fuel at the top of mountain, it was rich...
411 P01 PCM running 3 Bar OLSD OS: 1263016.
Procharged LS6, large cam, low vac at idle (72 Kpa at 100kpa baro).
Tuned VE to under 3% error at 700'. Runs excellent all around at that altitude....
Had a weird issue today. I have MPVI2 Pro link with AEM 30x Lambda on analogue chan 1 and an Auto meter 100psi gauge on chan 2. Both were logging perfectly yesterday. Today, I am seeing my fuel...
EFI Live can also change VIN. You can do all your tune in HP tuners, and when you are done, just have someone change VIN with EFI live, (you can do it with the 2 way tools.) You'll want to change it...
Don't know much about your set up, but sounds like your stock o2 sensors are throwing you off. Just search and read up on adjusting those for cam/headers.
Did you setup a channel for AFR thru EGR? (Used transform for AEM 30-5130)
([2811.10]*2.375)+ 7.3125
88313
And then add another channel for AFR Error?
100 * (([2811.10]*2.375)+ 7.3125 -...
Is it doing that with open or closed loop? Have you been clearing your fuel trims with the scanner each time you go back to open loop?
Yes, beauty of wideband and AFR commanded/error math makes it so you never have to disable PE. I wish we could just delete every thread that references doing so.
Tune the MAF open loop against MAF AFR error, not STFT, LTFT
It's not responding because it's calculating airflow of the MAF, which it sounds like you didn't adjust? Log MAF frequency. If it flatlines while RPM is climbing, then it's maxed, but sounds like you...
