Soldering iron can fix anything - I believe it uses the same locking procedure as the HPT stuff.

Then "other guys" have clearly stated they will be giving speed density and lean cruise enable as a seperate operating system as a free upgrade to all their customers as well as free lifetime...

You will see it on the scantool when it goes into lean cruise , commanded AFR slips to about 16:1 then when you go into pe it takes about 15 secs to return to lean cruise .

That only works if you are in open loop speed density , if you are in closed loop then it can only ask for 14.63 and the O2 sensor will pull it back.

I am lucky in that we have lean cruise already...
