No effect. Almost seems like it's breaking up/bucking at Part throttle in that RPM range. Roush has the plug gap at .030, think that's a little tight? May try to open them up to .040 and see

That's kinda what I thought. Ford racing claims you only have to change the intake cam along with both phasers. If I going in there, I'll change them both to be sure.
