Possibly you have a compressor on its way out, but mine also feels like it robs a lot of power. make sure your base RAF is good and if so add to the ac inertia table i believe its called, and zero...
I'm not sure how to help you currently, but if you uncheck the "use high speed" box when writing you may not have to pull the radio fuse and it may save you from trouble down the road. good luck

so what does this do to make the OL idle work?
also, instead of changing the VE table by .9 to lean out the idle, couldn't you change the PE EQ table to command the 16.3 between 0-1200 rpm?
