I have a 408 stroker with a GM connect and cruise wire harness, TCI EZ TCU controlling a 4L80e. At the drag races I changed my shift point to 6500 from 6100 and my truck seemed to hit a rev limiter...
Thank you for the responses. I basically confirmed what I already was pretty sure about, I need to change controllers. I will most likely go to a Holley system if I go farther with this vehicle.
It's been installed on the truck for about 4yrs already. just wondering if it can be done easily or not. there is a setting in the tuning for flex fuel?
Thinking about going E85 on my 71 C10 with a 408cu iron block with LS3 heads wondering how hard or easy would it be? using a GM ECM/connect & cruise harness.
I just had similar issue and it turned out to be a power issue to the trans computer. Unplug the bulkhead and see if it throttles without issue.
Sorry, I had a power issue to the trans computer. I never though it would've caused it.
It's a GM connect and cruise kit, I couldn't tell you if the designate them by year. thanks for your help I found the problem.

Anyone ever had this code a not had an issue wit the pedal or the throttle body? I have tried new ones of both and still sets that code at about 75-80% throttle. I've checked the wiring and it hasn't...
