Nope. I realized after some more reading that I've missed a step. Haven't found a guide that I understand about VVE yet though.
So I went ahead and leaned it out to .85-.86. This log is closer to .84 in reality. Leaning it out to .86 didn't change much. A few questions if anyone cares to answer. I also desensitized the...
Will be leaning it out to see what happens with the KR. What about the throttle opening and predicted tq?
.82. That's interesting. I've read similar but not a consensus.
It actually is the stock pulley. Only thing I did was modify the bypass vlave.
Stainless works 2" headers with !cats.

Tune is posted above.
I could use a little help interpreting this log. I believe I'm logging the correct information, but I'm not seeing exactly what I expected. Specifically around these charts:
predicted engine tq...
I think people who have learned gen5 well found out it was a much steeper learning curve than expected, and they aren't sharing much without getting paid for it. Disappointing, considering what is...
I'd like to get a thread going where we list resources outside this forum we used to learn. I'm new to gen5, and I'm trying to wrap my head around the new tq management system. This YT channel is...
For those reading this that are in the same boat check out this guy's YT channel. Has a few good ones about gen5.

Yes, agreed. I just wish there was a good, well-written source for just that. It seems like I'll be figuring this out mostly by myself since everybody wants you to buy a book now for help. The...
I stated that I possess all the knowledge to tune gen3/gen4. That?s a lot more than just logging afr error and pasting. I stated I want to learn what is unique to gen5. Thought that was pretty clear....
Maybe should have asked where the active community of people helping each other is?
The resources here certainly aren?t what they used to be. I?m not in this for a business or profit. Looking to...
That?s not going to work. You have to log about 15 extra with gen5 vs gen3-4. I?m using mpvi1 btw.
If this car were gen3/gen4 I?d have tuned it already. I want to see the correct way to do this on a gen5.
Most of the threads I find on here have no consensus. If there are any well written...
So I?m not looking for someone to provide me a free tune. What I could use is a tune from a very lightly modded zl1 a10 car that was done by the book. I want to work backwards to learn more of gen5...
I can understand the logic, but it?s an i5, 16gb ram, with an ssd. Never had the problem with previous versions.
+1 on the username.
Seems like this would have to be a bug. The laptop was rebooted in between. I believe the scanner checks PID’s the first time it’s connected every time if that makes sense.
So I am new to Gen5. I've done a lot of gen3, and my last car a CTS-V '09. Not too many issues. Obviously Gen5 is going to be a steep learning curve.
I can't explain this though. This '18 ZL1...
Is the credit purchase system automated? When should I expect to see 2 extra credits if I order them today?
I am currently running a 2 bar SD tune. Will I need more credits to convert to 3 bar? I didn't think I would, but I wanted to check before I swap sensors.

Come on. Sombody has to be able to verify this.
The high octane timing table only goes up to 1.2 g/cyl. I hit this with 1lb of boost. Is there basically no way to ramp timing up and down based on boost? The numbers you put at 1.20 g/cyl stay...
Just fail the maf at 0 hz like a 1 bat SD tune.
