Update . . . today I had the HPT unlocked PCM dealer flashed to stock and with a fresh beta read the VVL enable/disable switch was visible in the file. That seems to have resolved the issue.

After spending most of the holiday weekend trying to figure this out I've finally hit a wall and am hoping someone here will see...
Were you able to log MAF sensor voltage? I don't see voltage or frequency as an available channel in the scanner (most recent full or beta versions).
