No; all it had was the internal pressure switches in the transmission. iirc the prndl switch goes over CAN on those but i could be mistaken. the transmission itself had no provisions for a switch...
17 pin is 10+ up i think; all i know is the van wiring showed 17 pins used. the pressure/range switches look like they moved location and the line pressure solenoid was different.

i've had a problem similar to this in the past on a camaro, and it wound up being TPS related.
We thought we had a dead (worn spot) on the carbon traces so we swapped the TPS sensor and the issue...
