I did have the code show up again but under different conditions. I think to have figured out what triggers it. Watching the logs and when it shows up, looks like there are some spots with very light...
Well, today the balance code stayed off. Either changes in the tune or cooler air today. I changed the vve zones to match lz1 camaro and retuned vve based on it's configuration. Adjusted...
I am wondering if it is purely because of the 90* elbow. The code seem to stay off when towing a trailer. I was thinking of doing a test run with rotating the elbow and running temporary to see if it...
Some of the engine information:
Block (P/N 19256820): Tall Deck (10.2")
Bore x Stroke (in): 4.280x4.250
Heads Brodix race rite Ovals cnc 112cc chamber, springs 160/400
Cam# BBC8.1, HR73353-114...
It is running 8.1l cam core to match ls firing order. Ringed out injectors and coils multiple times to verify pinouts.
I did a check on O2 sensors to verify left and right position along with swapping sensors them selves from side to side with same results. What I am currently thinking is that it might be my intake...
Uploaded one of the scans for reference. But will try to log the exact point when it triggers tomorrow. Did not think about it earlier, but will enable check engine light on first instance for it to...
I will put logs up. I have logs but hard to tell where in the log it is triggered. Because it sets it during run time, and then throws code up on next start up cycle
If anyone have any advise, I am still consistently getting P1174 - Fuel Trim Cylinder Imbalance - B1. Except when towing a trailer, then it seems to stay off.
So far tried the following:...
Trying to reach out to see if anyone ever aquired or is able to aquire a scan from a stock freightliner medium duty or a bus that is running a gm 8.0l lpg engine that was in later years sold under PSI
Have done a number of updates from last year. Intake actually ended up being changed out, but was not that much of a difference with that change until started playing with the tune again. Felt that...
Attaching a scan and also channel config. 4lo shows as yes, but 4lo axle actually shows no. I found the throttle map that is used in a change and modified it, but shifts basically happen at 3k rpm
signal is wired to ecu. When scanning, it shows correctly when 4lo is engaged.
It shifts correctly and as commanded when not in 4lo, but becomes erratic with essentially large power loss when in 4lo
I have e38/t42 swap in a 4x4 configuration. 2008 gm calibration is used from a 4x4 truck with a manual transfer case. But there is a segment swap for 4l80e. When scanning it picks up and shows when...
I believe at least the random torque management is resolved. Set the abuse mode table to all 1's, and active time for it to 0.1s. That seem to have cured random torque management killing spark...
Does 4.8 open 4.10 files without a problem? I had older 4.6 and tried opening file that was edited by 4.10 and it failed. Been trying to find 4.8 version but not sure it would even work.
There is a fuel trim per bank, but I always though that the actual reason was mostly to make sure and detect any issues. Individual controls are not exposed.
Allows to test cat efficiency and identify problems bank to bank
On another note, I keep getting these two codes:
0x7E8: P1174 - Fuel Trim Cylinder Imbalance - B1
0x7E8: P1175 - Fuel Trim Cylinder Imbalance - B2
Which makes me think I might still have a vac...
I have few older versions now including 4.6, but not 4.8. Was going to try and find 4.8.7 as well
Truck and corvette pedals are different pinout and different configuration in the tune. Both have to match.
Went for another run and caught it acting while logging. Torque management kicking in wildly and randomly. Shows transmission torque management requested. Trying to go through the tune again to...
I had a very clear power reduction right around 194* and thought that table was an issue at first. I had tried 0 on all of those and it made no difference. As others mentioned, turned out it does not...
Knock sensors used are ls3 and seem to pick up knock reasonably well. Tested around with timing a bit. There are a bit of oddities in there because coil packs are from ls1/ls6. Motor is internally...
