    Short answer, no. On a lot of these newer cars they don't actually read the ECU, they just check the OS version and supply you with a compatible stock file to start tuning from.

    Besides just deleting the codes for specific faults there are also cat tests and downstream o2 tests you can disable in the engine diagnostic tab. Try disabling those and see if that helps!
