I think I follow you. Are you saying that even if I got credits for my new ECM hardware, I'd have to completely retune it from scratch?

I think I follow you. Are you saying that even if I got credits for my new ECM hardware, I'd have to completely retune it from scratch?
Hey guys. I have a fun one.
My 2002 Camaro (turbo 3800) currently has its knock sensors disabled. Despite using E85 and an a2a intercooler, my dyno tuner was unable to get rid of KR. Since...
That was a great way of explaining it. Thank you! I will begin rewiring it tonight.
Interesting. I have not not tried asking them just because the HPT issues didn't quite fall into their wheelhouse. I still haven't done my meter test, but I probably can tonight when I get home. I...
I guess I just find it odd that the link has two analog input channels, but only one signal ground. Then again, I guess grounding the signals to the same place just eliminates another floating...
Thanks for the reply. Are you saying that the pro link is grounded through the MPVI2 at the DLC?
Adding to this. I checked for vacuum leaks with a smoke machine. Everything seems to be sealed. I also learned that the 2% DC at idle is normal for 80s.
If I every figure out why my wideband...
Hi,
I'm getting pretty frustrated with my AEM 30-0300. Admittedly, my initial wiring job was terrible, so I ripped the dash apart, rewired all my gauges with Deutsch connectors, good crimpers,...
Hey everyone,
It's been a while. I had my turbo '02 Camaro with 80# injectors professionally tuned by Dyno Brian last year. I then promptly blew two T5s after that, so the car went down for...
Hi everyone,
I don't know if anybody remembers me, but I have only thrown in half of the towel since the last time I logged in. As it turns out, it was for good reason. My 2002 Camaro 3800 with...
Also, here's the tune I was planning to use when I try this again. I'm scared I'm going to screw something up though! Thanks again
Reviving again. I feel like I'm close to getting this right, but the goofy wideband I spent too much on is making things difficult. It's calibrated to display in E85 AFR.
...
Hey guys, I'm in an odd situation because of the goofy wideband I bought. It's an AEM 30-5143 which displays in E85 AFR (5.6 - 11.9:1). I noticed that I can change stoich in HP, but the...
Cylinder airmass is not a channel because it's a math function based off total MAF flow. You should just have to set up a MAF channel, and then you can graph it from Maths.

Sorry for being annoying with five posts in a row all from myself.... but I might as well give you all my resolution. I had to reinstall my ABS module AND pull the radio fuse. I find it odd that...
I have also tried unplugging the radio fuse, and a few others. No dice. I have an ongoing support ticket which has been responded, but we haven't gotten anywhere yet. If anybody else has had some...
I tried the Beta software. I also tried reading the ecm once again, saving it, pasting in my base timing changes, saving it again, closing the tune, reopening it, and then writing to vehicle. No...
Does anybody think the Beta software would help? I just downloaded it.
Yes, and dang. I'm having a lot of HPT growing pains over here.

I just tried to edit and load a tune again, and had the same issue as the time I tried yesterday. I can only get to the...
Paste them into the scanner? I'm naive, but why would I paste to the scanner? Also where into the scanner?
Like I say, I can copy and paste anything that's already in the editor, but I can't...
I was sent a table to paste into my rpm vs air mass histogram, but I can't get it to work. It would take me all day to manually enter all those numbers without fat-fingering something. I'm able to...

This is odd. Either the signal is not linear or there's some sort of weird negative offset built into the gauge. Either way, I contacted AEM about it. Hopefully...
It seems that I have a different issue which needs to be sorted out. Nevermind. :banghead:

I am very new to HP, so please cut me some slack.
I have an AEM 30-5143 E85 wideband. I tried to set it up per these ancient instructions...
