Hello everyone and good eveing, I haven't posted in a while life tends to get a little busy sometimes. Nonetheless, I am having a P0223 code pop up pedal position sensor/switch B circuit high. Anyone...
I really appreciate your information. I?ll talk to the guy and see what he wants to do. May just be a case where he has to get an SCT device for his needs. I suggested doing a plug n play standalone...
No emissions aren?t an issue where I am, I just read someone else?s post where they let hptuners generate a vin and then the car wouldn?t start. To clarify when I connect to the car, it reads the...
Would using the hptuners function where it generates the vin cause an issue. It?s able to read the stock tune file that?s on the car, there?s just no vin attached to it
Also if you have the anti shuffle switch turned on make sure it?s turned on until you get it 100% dialed, or just leave it off. That can cause issues sometimes
Vin not detected, has there been a nailed down solution to this, I don?t want it to generate a vin and cause an issue.
Where in the exhaust are the 02 located?
There should be an inferred movement tab as well. I think it?s set to something like 3000 from the factory. I don?t have too much experience in transbrake setup but it makes sense to me if the pcm is...
You need a fuel system
A fuel system and e85 with more timing will put you over your goal no need for a throttle body. Those are half the cost to a fore innovations fuel system to support your goals. Just my opinion.
Couldn?t hurt to just throw some clutch packs in it. Those go a long way, the transmission hardware itself it?s stout. At that horsepower range. You?re going about it the correct way. Most tuners...
I don?t know if you can disable it in the suite but you could always unplug the physical switch itself. I doubt you?d accidentally start it without pushing the clutch anyways.
Yeah definitely not worth the time in my opinion for the maybe 2 hp yield the throttle requires. I appreciate all the input
Only thing I could think is you touched something you aren?t suppose to. Don?t touch the torque tables at that mod level you?ll get yourself in more muddy water. Sounds like too much torque...
Jlt is known for needed quite a bit of work
your OSS maps for your base table looks like it set to shift really short, stock the 1-2 shift is usually 1700 rpm OSS. Something to look at. Also try copying your torque modulation alt 2 table (aka...
It should lock under WOT, you may be blowing past your locked limiter causing it to stay unlocked. Try raising the limiter Trans > Torque management> Torque converter > Locked torque limit, raise it...
Also it?s a gen 1
It?s currently using the stock throttle body. It?s not on my car, it?s in someone?s im going to tune. I told him to keep the stock throttle body because it works the best. And his rational for...
Exactly what Elliot said, or get a bigger MAF housing like the pmas 120mm MAF housing which is scaled to 165 lb/min which you?ll never hit
I appreciate it I?ll give it a look as long as it?s not throwing any errors I honestly don?t care.
So basically anything and everything that deals with custom tunes got slapped by the alphabet company and now doesn?t exist, so small business owners are screwed gotcha.
Turn off the variable cam tables. Is usually the minimum and turn the CEL off for VCT. Not cam position the motor still needs that
I 100% agree I kept telling him just polish the stock throttle but he?s not taking no for an answer. If you happen to know the values that would be great. Or PM me. I found some for the 85mm I?m sure...
Anyone have the data for this throttle body. Person insisted on using it because it?s ?pretty? even though I told him it?s more issues than it?s worth.
