Please correct me if I'm wrong here but this is a manual transmission and commanded throttle is only 11-13% when this oscillation takes place. Does torque management do anything on these low throttle...
Disabling spark smoothing dramatically reduced the rather violent jerking I've been enduring for years. It's still there but only a fifth of what it used to be which makes it unnoticeable most of the...
EVERYTHING, I think, is set to 24 degrees. I will disable spark smoothing but 24 smoothed to 24 shouldnt be a problem, hahaha

You mean like this.? overspeed is zero and idle costdown is 24. EVERYTHING is set to 24. and its going down to 5 somehow.101764

Thanks for the reply. I never figured out a way to compare. Took a while to learn to tune vve. I found it much easier once I learned to use the correct manifold switch option and zeroed out the other...
Is there a way to use the compare function to compare old and new VVE portions of the tune? At this time when I'm looking at a VVE table I can't look at anything else until I close that window.
I have no idea how to use the vve editor. is there a guide?
This is really beginning to piss me off. I miss the old "411"ecm.
I'm not positive but I didn't think 2nd was a option with the trans break.
Maybe I'm retarded but all I see are serial and they don't work 79963
Yeah. I gotta say I'm not happy with the new site. It's "pretty" and showcases there new products but it sucks for support.
Ah, I'm here because I can't find my application key in the new website. Any suggestions.
looks like the new website is here. 12 years later, haha
Also.. Does klf apply to the entire table or is the table divided into cells and a different KLF for each area?
K.. Thanks.. 95% of the time I buy E85 but I found 87 octane for $2.20 since I'm not FI I went for it. Didn't know it had pulled timing from 26 degrees down to 16 until I happened to log. I'd never...
Looks like flashing the modified low octane table reset the klf. Thanks anyway. 1st I've heard of klf. Was it also on the Gen 3 ecm? I thought timing just switched between the 2 tables not a mixture

I don't have E85 tables. I don't have a alcohol content sensor. Wish I did.
As I said I switched back to E85 a couple of tanks ago. Taking to long to relearn.
HOW do I reset klf
Went from 87 octane to E85. How do I reset my knock learn? It seems to be taking weeks to do it automatically
I'd like to know this also.
And how do I force the ecm back to the hi table
Really, that's good to know. I've been trying to figure out how to reset back to the high octane table after having cleared up a high timing problem
Copy... So I'm guessing tuning the VVE is mandatory along with the changes in the MAF I'll need for the cam?
Or variable volumetric efficiency? Damn, really?
