Sounds like it from the last few posts. Esp. if it throws a code if it couldn't adapt. Hence the reason I only went from 40 to 60 and given what we have learnt I'm going back to 40.

I was looking at the tune more to understand how they can make the box handle more torque than the 6L80 - rather than using the parameters directly.
