FYI, you can command fuel rail pressure with HPT. Even though the units say psi, just enter what you want in MPa. I commanded 150 MPa and it ran the pressure up to 21,000 psi.
I still have not...
Disconnecting the Edge seems to have let me scan the truck this morning. It won't get above 10,000 psi of rail pressure.
Can HP Tuners command rail pressure? I see that option in the vehicle...
That is what I was thinking to try this morning. I'll remove the edge and see what the scan looks like then.
Last week I got in my truck after it sitting for approx 3 weeks and the check engine light came on. I backed it out the drive and it wouldn't get over 25 mph. After figuring out it was in limp...

My brother has put larger wheels/tires on his 07 silverado. The dealership told him that the transmission is not liking the the new larger diameter tires. I do not know much about the new trucks. ...
Does anyone have a link to formula for the PE multiplier. ie 1.00=14.7 and 1.13=13.0
I have been driving, logging with wideband and adjusting the VE table according to % error for to weeks now and have it pretty close. My method of doing this has been with the commanded AFR at 13.0...
This is my understanding of it. Someone correct me if I am off.
When dialing in you VE table you are simply telling the PCM how much air is entering the cyliders at a given rpm and map. It is...
If this is the case then shouldn't we be adjusting the secondary table with the AFR % error. Reason I ask this is I have two rpm areas that apperar flat on my primary VE 3D chart, but of coarse they...
Can someone post me a screenshot of this. I am having difficulties finding the STFT to add to the table. 98 Trans Am if that helps.
No it is not. Just trying to dial in my VE for the new setup.
Ok. That is done. I was thinking that was two different steps. I found and set up a user defined PID to log the STFT sensor.
Where in the VCM scanner do I reset the STFT and LTFT? I have not...
I am not seeing the STFT enable/disable. Also do not see a PID for STFT (to log).
I disabled the LTFT's. How do I know if I have disable the STFT's? I have been following Cpigs guide so they might already be disabled.
OK so I have been doing the drive, log, multp by % AFR Error for a few days now. How will I know when it is dialed in? I know that my commanded AFR should match my actual. Do I keep doing this...
The TPS had some moisture and gunk in it. I cleaned it out and it is responding properly now. .67v closed and 4.83v WOT. Idle has also returned to how it was before. Looking at my past logs the...
I will check this this evening. I do need to visit the high threshold because I removed some material from the stop so the blade would fully open. I will open up the holes a bit and adjust till I...
1) There is a sticky on LS1tech on the idle adjstment screw (site is down this morning for me). 2) I need to check the voltage. From reading on here it looks as it should be between 0-5V, closed to...
I am currently working on getting my VE dialed in. I have been driving the car (98 TA with newly rebuilt motor) for a week now and after loading some changes yesterday the car idles at 1,500 to...
Is there a reason that I have to log my EGR voltage for my wide band to read through this input. I have it running but if I want the AFR to show up I have to log the EGR volatage and my custom PID...
I was doing some research today on this and ran across the thread on pt.net. I am currently running a spal controller. It works fairly well but I would like to be able to control the fans with the...
