I have tried multiple times and have done new reads to make sure it applied no difference
2006 GMC 2500 HD 6.0 LQ4 last engine spun crank bearings. Swapped in a ATK HP109 https://www.jegs.com/i/ATK-Engines/059/HP109/10002/-1 I believe this is the cam they put in them....
looking at the previous logs when it ran, MAP reads about the same just sitting there. So far I have checked spark again, checked compression on all cylinders, checked fuel pressure, and made sure...
also took another log with some more channels added can anyone see anything out of the ordinary which I am not?
The battery is mounted drivers front just like a stock gmc 2500, cables are all stock sizes and lengths battery is 850 CCA AT 32 degrees and 690 at 0 degrees
After cleaning plugs spark looked good again, only tried starting it a couple times after cleaning plugs going to try again tonight. I already have new starter and battery, all connections are good,...
I have replaced both starter and battery from Napa a few weeks ago, Also tested for voltage drop across both side power and ground side circuits to starter both read less than .2 volts. Today I took...

Ok so since I got it started consistently over the past couple of weeks I have ran into the same problem once it got a little colder so i added some cranking timing and adjusted cranking VE table a...

I tried it with that original tune and the new battery same result as old battery. new battery with new tune it fired right up so.... sorry you feel that way but I'm glad somebody else believed me.
Ok I replaced the battery and with that tune it starts now thank you all and especially SiriusC1024
Had a few minutes to try this tune last night and now I can hear it trying to fire out the exhaust while lightly pushing on the gas pedal. going to buy new battery and try again tonight maybe mess...
It was backfiring out of the intake but I think that's because I had the fuel injectors unplugged creating a lean condition. Matched up both the fuel injector and ignition coils wiring harnesses with...
Thanks will make those changes when I get a chance and see what happens. Also horsepowerguru427 contacted ATK for cam specs they sent me this 228/234@50 .604/.609 112LSA
its a crate engine from the company ATK part number is HP109. Just thought it was a good reference in case it would help. is there other changes I should have made from the stock tune?
planning on getting new battery today but jumping it with another truck fuel pressure reads 60 psi. Pulled fuel pump relay and cranked again and engine would start to try and fire. maybe i have too...
With fuel injectors plugged in and squirting found that same condition. With injectors unplugged it began backfiring through the intake a little. What should i do next?
Battery voltage is so low because this was recorded after many cranking attempts with charger on battery. I have done all the basics I can think of. I'm getting fuel to cylinders, I have good spark....
2004 GMC Sierra 2500 HD swapped in a ATK HP109. Stock manifold, stock injectors. got it to initially start and run with this tune when it was about 80 degrees outside. Now its about 40 degrees...
