I think MMGT1's are for a 180 too. Try either Eddie's or MMGT1's for a 180. Take off 20* for a 160 I guess:)

I"m having a similar issue with the TCC lock up, particularly on cruise. I would definitely be interested in this type of change, or at least some sort of translation/help in creating a custom pid...
LOL... my mistake...
Thanks,

Thanks Bill... I will send it later tonight!
Stoich would be great!!.... I may have other problems though, but the o2 is new.
How do you suggest to go OL during idle only? I want...
Here's a few additions I would find helpful, mostly based on the 3800 guys requests and my failed emissions:) Note that my car is cammed.
Based on some of the comments in a few other threads...
Will all V6's see this lovin? or only the 3800's?
Thanks!
From what I've been told, if my NO was high, then fixing (or installing in my case) the EGR will help. Since my NO's are low, I would not expect this to have any effect on my HC, but what do I...
Talking to other folks, it seems the hydrocarbons is an issue with oil, not fuel. Apparently I need to look into my PCV (I don't recall ever changing this in 220,000km)?
The cat is not that old,...
my afr's at idle jump around from 14.2 to 15.2. There's a scan above, but my wideband is before the cat.
idk... maybe crank up my idle to the max (~1100 rpm?) to even it out a bit? the guy at...
I do have a cat. Hence my question. Do you think my hydrocarbons are out due to my cat needing a replacement? Or would there be another issue, possibly my cam?
Also, if it is the cat, will it...
Well, I failed my emissions test the other day. I've attached the test results and a scan at idle. Not sure really what to do at this point. I assume the issue is I need a new catalytic converter,...
Well, it's time for my emissions test! I posted here as opposed to the V6 section as I assume, emissions related stuff are pretty generic.
I have a few questions about the emissions test because...
I don't think the V6 has 3 bar map support, however the injector scaling should work.
Someone with GTP experience should be able to answer those questions.

I'm not sure about the swap, however, there are great sites out there for determining the codes. A few are:

As for the LTFT, definitely the...
I never noticed this status bit.... I'll take a look. Thanks Bill.
Thanks for the clarification. Make some sense now. I guess once I get my MAF tuned properly (using the how-to from...
So, what you are saying is I have it backwards.
open loop = PE and idle (idle would be the only time 14.7 is commanded)
closed loop = (1-open loop)
I thought the o2 was used in IDle? or is...
Ok, I"m always getting confused by open and closed loop.
So, am I correct in:
closed loop = PE and idle
open loop = (1-closed loop) :)
If this is the case, then how am I going to pass...
"maybe" is the best answer i can give at the moment, it's going to go down to the wire...[/quote]
Is this still a maybe? I'm really hoping for the open loop tables for my GA. Also, can you...
So, how do i get my hands on one of them stickers:)
No directly afaik. Timing is based on the cyl air mass (g/cyl) when in open loop and there are a variety of adders for closed loop.
I hope one of the boosted experts here will provide you some...
Higher, is more timing.... usually boosted applications are running lower timing than NA.
MInes stock too... some call it a fluke that i'm still running it:) I shift at 6800 rpm, but my mods allow for it (well, some of em)
Higher the number, the leaner
The way I understand it:
air to fuel ratio
units of air per 1 unit of fuel
14.7002 = 14.7002 units of air per 1 unit of fuel
higher the number implies more air ...
You will need to tune your afr's using your LTFT's and STFT's. Your narrowband sensor is only accurate at stoich, so the adjustments will need to be small.
The adjustments will be made to your VE...
Oh, post a scan (.hpl file) so ppl can see what you are seeing.
