    Re: Are IFR and AFR independent?

    Same questions, opposite change:

    I just dialed in my A/F on the dyno and now need to change my IFR table a bit. I need the numbers just a bit more negative.

    Sooo, if I scale the IFR table down...

    Traction Control Settings with an M6

    Does the traction control system settings ("TCS Retard vs. RPM" and "TCS Agressive Retard vs. RPM") relate to M6 as well as A4 vehicles with tcs?

    I only ask because it's in the torque management...

    Re: Cold engine idle question

    There's a lot of great info there, I'm just curious how many of those settings would be correct for a non H/C car. Almost all of the idle tuning threads I read are talking about H/C cars (or at least...

    Re: Timing table rule of thumb?

    When uploading your vcm, does it automatically clear the learned values (ltft) or do we have to do it manually? I'm asking because if you upload a timing change and ltft's were cleared, wouldn't that...

    Re: Help!.. LTFTs out of control!!

    So it's rather normal to see much lower numbers in the upper left portion of the ltft histogram window while the rest of the chart is right in line?

    Re: need help where do I start?

    The excel chart he's talking about is here:
    http://www.tiggerfan.net/ltft.php
    Something I've been doing when creating new log files is numbering them (yyyymmdd tttt)

    YYYY = year
    MM = month

    Re: Fuel Trims (LTFT, STFT) seem to mean NOTHING!

    Sounds good, thanks for the info. But should I be concerned with the fact that my ft's in the top left portion of the histogram chart are like -4 to -6 while the rest of the chart is 1 to -1? Or...

    Re: Air Pump Question

    Are we sure it doesn't refer to the TEST and not the actual function of the air pump? I read somewher that it just disables the test below this temp.

    I only ask because I have to pass emissions...

    Re: Fuel Trims (LTFT, STFT) seem to mean NOTHING!

    So let me know if i'm reading this correctly: -ve carry over 0% to WOT fueling. In addition, there is no real benefit to having the ltft's at, lets say, -2 instead of -6? Is there any...

    Re: Cold engine idle question

    Mine hunts about 50RPM or so and seems quite rough. I tried scanning for misfires today and had a few random ones. It's done this since I got the car (only 3100 miles now) and seems to have gotten a...

    Re: Fuel Trim Cell 22

    Forgive me, i'm new:

    How do you find a specific fuel trim cell (ie. cell 22 or cell 16-19)? I have done some logging but I guess I don't understand where this "specific" fuel cell data is located....

    Mine works with no problems. I haven't tried uplading yet, but I'm sure it will be fine.

    Now, if I can only figure out where to begin tuning.....!

    Just got mine and it rattles too. Hopefully when I try it tomorrow there are no problems.
