Loyde,
Thanks for the reply. Can you suggest a way by looking at the binary file to determine what the actual seed is?
Thanks Again,

Does anyone know where I can find the seed / key location in a L67 binary file that is disassembled using IDA Pro?
I am thinking it is between $4000 and $400B
Thanks,
Tim
To view the file as I have here, there are a few things that you need:
1. You will need a copy of the latest version of IDA Pro
2. A BIN File
This Quote is a good start:
Basically, if...
Thanks for the reply, it looks as if that is it. The code is bit different from what I expected, but once I get a chance I will take a detailed look at it.

Quick Question concerning the Location Transmission Sensor:
For beginners, I am looking at the binary file of a 2002 LS1 FBody in IDA Pro
I am currently looking at the pid vecs within this...
Ahh, now that makes sense. I was scratching my head trying to figure out where the 2.55 came from. Thanks.
Maybe Chris can answer this:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Line1: move.w ($FFFFA390).w,d0
Line2: mulu.w #$D,d0
Line3: ...
Actually, I believe what we are looking for are the scaling values from the scanner or editor. Acutal formulas possibly could be formulated, but that could be pretty tough.
With the scaling...
How exactly would I go about finding them with your scanner (I take it the scan tool part, not the tuning)?
hmmm, what does the book cover exactly?
Chris thanks for the reply. Is the output scaling of the values that come in for all the PIDs referenced within the code as well? Or is that information obtained from another source?
Just curious if any knew of any good programming references for 68332 assembly code. I have been to the motorola website, and read the cpu32 user manual, but am still somewhat confused.

Ok, so I have been disassembling this 167 bin file and I have quick question to see if I am calculating the forumla for pid 1151 correctly:
...
Does anyone have any 98-00 ls1 bin files? If so shoot me an email or post here.
Thanks,
Tim
Does anyone know of any good disassemblers (other than IDA Pro) in order to decode the bin files?
My problem is that I am looking to see the codes for each PID in order to see the conversion...
That would be great, I'll just keep looking around till then.
By the way, does anyone know of any resources or information on the pcm aspect of Case Learns?
I was wondering if anyone had a complete GM Pid List, Including PID Number? I have Fords, but am looking for the gm's entire list, not just the generic ones.
Any help would be greatly...
