Trying to help out a buddy that put a reman 6l90 in a 2011 CTSV and when I got to do a fast adapt it tells me to apply the brake but it never goes past that. I tried it a couple of times, but didn't...
Is there still a discount for bulk credits?
Ive sent a handful of Escapes and Tributes. I'm sure they'll never do the mazdas, but the Fords have been on the list for at least a year now.
Any news on this yet?
Dont go on vacation.
That link posted is just some examples is there an actual list of whats available for unlimited group, like it used to be.
Also is there a list of the cars that overlap in the year models. Like...
The supported vehicle list has shown ''02-11 Escape 2.3, 3.0'' for quite a while now. I've sent in a few Escape 3.0 files and infologs to support (and some Mazda Tribute 3.0 files) and they are yet...
I'm working on a 69 Camaro with an LS7 4L70e swap. E38 ECM, 07 Silverado OS, disabled VATS and starter checks443904439144392. Just got it to run a drive to start tuning but having a weird issue with...
Nevermind. It went away with some drive time.
If everything is set to no error reported and the EVAP readiness is good then why is this not working.
Tuning a 2011 Camaro and I'm getting a not ready on the Continuous Test for the Fuel System. Never seen this before and I can't find any info about it.
What does this mean, will this hurt my...
I had some bigger tires on it, they are stock now. Must have forgot to change it back.
Still doesn't explain my problem, but it does explain my speedo reading high on the highway.
I took my car to the drag strip last Sunday only to find that I was hitting the limiter on the 2-3 shift. Nothing uncommon for this car with a 4000 stall and a 3.90 gear, but what's odd is that no...
You can spend 2 more credits on the enhanced OS...
or...
you can copy all the data from the tune that you have into a known good tune with the same OE OS and do a write entire and overwrite...
I've got another 99 (9630361 OS) that seems is really bad.
At normal operating temps form a cold start = IAC is ~90 counts and +10lbs/hr STIT.
Normal operating temps from a hot start = IAC ~40...
I used to drag the desktop out on the deck and use serial cable extensions when I was first starting to mess with OBDI tunercat. It actually worked pretty well, then I got a laptop and started...
What vehicle are you tuning?
You do not need to do a "write entire" for most vehicles. Unless you are actually changing more than the calibration.
It's not going to hurt to try a little leaner, but there's no way of knowing what the car likes better without getting it on a dyno.
Just make sure you have your airflow in line and adjust the PE...
There was a thread on LS1teh about just switching a couple of wires in the harness and running an 80e off of a 60e file.
Nope. The 60, 65 and 70 all work the same electronically and mechanically. There are just minor differences that help them to hold more power.
The differences between the 60 and 65 don't warrant any tuning changes. The 65 just has some upgraded hard parts inside.
I posted in your thread on LS1tech, but incase you don't see it.
Your airflow tables are stock and your PE appears to have been raped. This is probably most of your drivability problems.
Put...
I didn't say turn off PE. Maybe I shouldn't have said 'all enrichment'.
You need to be searching not bumping.
Here's how to set up the scanner for VE AFR error tuning. Just disable the MAF and any enrichment tables (DFCO,COT). You can do the MAF the same way.
