Yes I have compared the files and trucks, and its almost like clockwork when I have them on the dyno, a 2017 will run 30-50hp higher than any 2018 I have tested, these are directly off the showroom...
Do a read from the ford and post your file here, or pm it to me
thanks, dont know how I missed that haha
Forscan can do it although you need to wire in at least one door switch so the cluster and bcm will properly shutdown, or else they will stay on for 10-15 minutes after the key is off
Plans to support the new 2020 7.3 gas motor yet?

not with hptuners
this wouldnt be such an issue if we could import .bin files without issue, but yes i agree with you, to do a legit emission on tune we need to control egr flow
you are in the diesel thread, so yes, we are talking about the diesel market
HPT is the most limited in the diesel world, there are lots of other options for diesels. and zr1 isnt my market...Not saying HPT isnt useful, Its just limited unless you dive deep into user defined...
sad thing is, hptuners is no longer very supportive of importing .bin files either... really getting slim on what vehicles are actually worth tuning with HpTuners :(
here is a list, its the code on the sticker of the pcm which you should remove to clean the J3 port anyway to install your chip :)
correct LML are a Write only ecm unless you pull them apart, EfiLive is write only as well for this ecm, hp supplies you with a base "stock" tune when you attempt to read it
whats the box code? just order a ts or a hydra switch and ill send ya a bunch of base files
no, hptuners screwed us with a forced firmware update on the hardware that prevents using any of the old versions of software, unless you find an old mpvi and never update it, hope this helps ya
send a log of your truck idling then slowly rev it to around 27-7800rpm, i think we have the same issue, after 2650rpm, the 6.4 pcm drops the torque signal to zero and that makes the trans shift...
Found it, was a ETC rpm limiter, not very much scanning capability on these tcms :/
pull your file and post it, me or someone else here will help you out
silver64- what box code are you working with?
no, you need to use winols or minatour
yea if its only a fuel limiter, then its pretty much useless as the throttle pedal can do the same thing lol
i have not tried to read a 7.3 pcm with the "chip" plugged in, but i would recommend against it, why not just adjust the tunes from the hydra? and skip Hp, since they dont support the Switch on fly...
please elaborate as I didnt think hptuners supported any switch on the fly tuning other than using a Nguage and completely swithing tunes
in search of an old mpvi that has NOT had the firmware updated....pm me if you have one for sale... also i highly reccomend to not update your firmware, If you need to work with newer vehicles,, buy...
