I have a 2011 300c that I threw a 2016 NON BGE 392 in and I have no ideal what the inject tables should look like.
I Put a TSP STG 3 cam in the car and am attempting to tune the car.
I would like...
Context: 392 with a TSP STG 3 cam.
Do we want to do all tuning in open loop?
Do we want to permanently leave the car in open loop?
The only context I have for open loop is it's necessary to...
Okay I'll implement you're sweep test as I work through this car. It seems like a good way to confidently pick an AFR on any engine.
The only question I have left is ranges for AFRs. Is there a...
I highly appreciate the analytical approach to tuning and the explanation of why a particular engine may be happier on the rich side of things. I didn't even consider the head chamber design....
I think this may be one of the most insightful perspectives on the topic because you are making it clear how much variance there is in the system. Here I am think everything needs to be exact as if...
Okay that's very helpful. It sounds like it really is a set it and forget it kind of deal.
I'm mainly surprised that AFR isn't as important as I thought considering how many different view points...
Context I'm asking about AFR in the hemi forums, but some twat told me to come in here.
I figure you guys may be more helpful.
Q: How do we pick a target AFR in general?
It's great if someone...

2011 300c AWD that got the 392 treatment and a TSP cam.
Following.
Following. I've ran across the same issue with my 300. I don't know what is wrong but the car refuses to respond to VE fueling changes. I put the car into open loop, but regardless of how many edits...
Love the help guy
All I'm getting from this is that they may be more helpful?
Are you hung up on using AFR over FAR even though it's the same thing?
huh?
If the VVT system is disabled for any reason the cam is fully advanced. However that doesn't apply here because I've physically deleted and programmatically disabled the VVT system.
I'm...
The cam is locked and has been degreed.
I have disabled ANN and am using VE to tune.
I remember seeing somewhere that in this state, the PCM will use the lockpin tables. So I'm trying to ensure...
Why AFR is important
AFR is responsible for generating an air fuel mixture that creates an efficient burn.
A rich AFR provides additional torque due to a faster flame front, cylinder cooling, can...
I recently installed a TSP STG 3 N/A hemi cam
ICL:110
LSA: 113 +3 advance ground in
So we with locked cams do we just disable the VVT system? I believe this throws the engine into the lockpin...
I graphed the stock 392 cam specs here
138987138989
I installed the TSP cam at the stock cam angle.
The stock 392 cam is positioned for an intake center line of 118 degrees.
I definitely miss timed the cam.
Boy am I dumb. Thank god the valves are ok
@LilSick
Since I installed a phaser limiter does this mean that the cam does not go in at 12 o'clock?
Edit: I bought a phase limiter but I installed it sideways like a lock out. Figured it...
Are you suggesting that the cam is timed improperly?
Everything I have read and seen has stated to install the cam @ 12 o'clock with piston 1 @ TDC.
I don't understand the example of a crank...
If ICL is 110? ATDC wouldn't the cam be installed with the cam keyway at 12 o'clock and piston #1 @ TDC
Edit: The cam is installed correctly. Thank you for clarifying.
I have a 392 300 that I finished up installing a TSP STG 3 cam into and I am working on building a base tune.
Cam specs: 223/232 .582/.582 113+3
ICL: 110 -> What do I do with this number?...
i went through and swapped the valve body out for a known good valve body and cleaned the trans plug. The issue continues to persist. At this point I'm thinking its either the tune or maybe the wheel...
1) Thanks, I'll check the connector for a dirty connection and or and wiring issues.
2) Is there a way to share the whole file? I'm aware if basic vs advance view, but not a "data field" only. Are...
