    I am unsure but I Believe this is correct because. Every upload/download I’ve sniffed (DiabloSport,Hypertech,Tech-2) the VIN is always requested right before the seed request.

    recalls etc.. I think you can buy about the same information on cd-rom from Helm Inc.

    Very Usefull Motorola PDF

    This is a tech doc on the Motorola MC68CH58 J1850 data link controller. It has alot of info on the J1850 Bus. Almost a poor mans HS3000.
