I have the E80A and it downloads the tune and scans just fine... it's the transmission that's hard locked. I have not tuned this 2018 Regal 2.0T just to make sure others have had success with it. ...
If normal driving or doing the drive cycle doesn't work, it means you have a vacuum leak somewhere (usually) or the purge solenoid is clogged or bad.
All I can think of is a damaged piston and/or ring. Sorry I don't have any better news.
A sliver of the turbine wheel could of done it very easily and fast. Not sure if you can replace a piston...
At peak Torque on 93/94 AKI octane I'd leave the timing no higher than 10*..... at max RPM it's a trial and error with whatever fuel you're running and the ambient air temp.
Unless I'm missing something.....
Stoichiometric fuel ratio along with lots of timing will give you a shit load of KR under load.
The battery sensor sounds like it should work because when the battery is a little discharged, the start/stop doesn't work. But I'd watch out because the battery sensor adjusts alternator charging...
28 lbs injectors are too small for flexfuel. They must be bigger. Should be at least double that lbs/hr.
What model year HHR are the injectors from ???
Seems like you have the 60 lb injectors in the car, but the table is set for 33 lb ?
You're totally right. Brain fart. Thanks for catching that. higher ramp in/out values = less PE delay.
Thanks !
Post your Tune and a log please.
:)
The reason for the delay could be the "Enable Torque" & "Enable Pedal" tables under Fuel - Power Enrich.
Enable Torque table ,... I would change the whole table to 30 % or 25 or 20 %
Enable...
Torque Management - Torque Limit vs RPM - Max Torque tables for 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th & reverse gears (tables 18205 - 18206 -18207 -18208 - 18209 - 18210 - 18211).
Try changing the values to 500...
I have a 2018 Regal FWD 2.0 LTG and under any acceleration HP Scanner shows it's in Open loop and when cruising it shows Closed loop. And like Tunerpro said, car came with factory Wideband O2's. ...
Sorry I didn't read everything on this thread, but I've noticed during a flying mile run (in Mexico ) on the stock tune, the boost increased by 2 or 3 psi on it's own only once the car went...
Maybe it has to do with the /Engine/Torque Management/Driver demand ???
just a wild as guess.
What car, what engine, what transmission, what ECM/TCM ??
You don't have to spend any credits to download the tune from your car.
Most of the time the same ECM in a different car will tune the...
Thanks for the info... I knew the extra cruising timing was related to the EGR, but never thought of turning of it's diagnostics.
Cars I've had ran anywhere from 42 to 50 timing at cruising.
Please post the tune if possible.
Yeah, you can set all the cam timing tables anywhere from 0 to 32 degrees. But I've not seen a factory tune where it's higher than 24 or 25*... I think the VV timing has a hard physical stop that...
Thanks mate... Appreciate it.
Can't view the tune...

Very late reply... but there are a couple 2006 cobalt 2.4 stock files in the repository... Here's one of them.

I'm not sure if this is the problem, but the 2012 2.4 engine might of had bigger injectors than the 08 ???
Engine has to reach a certain temp before it goes into closed loop. Even when starting a fully warmed up engine, it still takes a handful of seconds before it goes into closed loop.
Is the Money...
