I'm at 5 GPH@100PSI (not boost! but 50% ethanol) and 5 PSI of boost.
It goes from 12.5 to 12 AFR from 3500 rpm to redline.
More mixture = lower AFR

Is it necessary to zero the cracker table AND increase the enable speed?
I "only " zeroed the cracker table and it's already better (my engine was hanging 1 sec while shifting).
Are ther any drawback changing the DFCO settings? Like overheating the cats?
If it was so simple to gain a couple of MPG why did GM choosed those settings? Mileage is important to them... CAFE, Gas...
As I answered the same on another forum "someone" wrote:
"by the way that a pretty elaborate scheme youve come up with!!!!!!"
hehe! :D
If the double MAF assembly is well designed each MAF...
Are you selling the M6 trans?
You talk about "gaseous intercooling": is it a Blowerworks kit (Carrol Superchargers)? He uses this name, that's why I ask.
For tuning he told me to go this way:
use water alone and low timing (for...
OK this works for SD tuning and for SD driving in general. In this case there will be a frequency to be used for torque calculation.
But it also works if you disconnect the MAF: in this case how...
What is the result of installing a shift kit? Faster shifts? Harder shifts?
I'm also intersted: I disabled mine because I was thinking it would mess with the fuel when I was tuning PE. My cats are still alive ;D
Could you please post some details? Schematics?
Thanks - Stefano
I see the same fluctuation with my PLX300 and apparently it's normal.
Messing with the MAF (for example to adjust LTFT) really changes the trans behavour (line pressure).
I didn't like it because it makes impossible to fine adjust shift pressure.
I changed the MAF...
As long the PCM can use the MAF signals and is not making confusion comparing them with other things (VE, O2 and so on) it's better to use it.
This is the case of an almost stock engine with not too...
As long you have the stock MAP sensor the VE table will have to remain the same: the boost range is outsite of the stock VE table.
You'll have higher numbers if you extend the table to show more...
Under boost the PCM will think to be at 105 kPa (mine does).
MAF, RPM and PE will take care of fueling.
The Vortech (Superchip) programmer modifies the "DTC0101 Allowed Error" table as in the...
:P
...didn't know... ouch!
Maybe if it's that way from the factory it will be calibrated correctly.
Good point.
Hey Chris! why not 8x MAF's?
;D ;D
;D ;D
I love my MAF :-*
MAF is an improvement, not a regress.
It measures what really goes in to the engine, no matter if you have ported heads, cam blower or whatever.
It's pretty accurate from idle...
Look at my setup (a couple of posts ago).
Everything sits on top of the engine and gets hot just because of exhaust heat, engine heat and so on.
The SC is lubricated by the engine oil and I'm not...
Chris, could you please explain this? Is it because the exhaust gasses still contain unburned fuel? Or because the combustion happens too late?
I'm also at 17* and rarely see knock.
What kind of fuel are you using?
What is you engine - Year - mods?
Do you have an LS1Edit file to take a look?
MadMax350: are there any problems related to continuosly discharge the eccessive air? (non boost condition).
I'd like to try it once but I saw a tread on LS1tech about that. Apparently the open...
True, the bypass is a grate thing but when not under boost the air mostly recirculates and gets really hot. Also the piping and the blower, and when you mash on it it takes a moment to cool.
I...
Sorry but I don't get it :-[
I was thinking at a blow-off valve instead of a bypass.
Blow-off = when you close the throttle the manifold vacuum opens the valve and the air goes back to the nature....
THat's what I meant. Vortech has a Bosch bypass valve that will open if you apply vacuum to the membrane. This is connected to the manifold.
Under boost the membrane closes and keeps the pressure....
How accurate is a blow-through MAF?
Many setups (like Vortech) measure the air before the blower, the unused air is recirculated so that the MAF will measure the real air quantity.
The drawback is...
