Not sure if this will matter, but shouldn't the DFCO be Engine - Fuel - Cutoff DFCO
Enable RPM 1300 --> 8100
Disable RPM 1200 --> 8000
You want DFCO and CFCO disabled. Maybe the Gen V is...
Thank you, I just bought a new sensor from GMParts. (I dont want a Chinese counterfeit)
I'm reading many places that the stock GM sensor has the temp measuring capability and as you said, it's...
I don't see that HP Tuners has a provision for the temperature of fuel. I do see HALTECH does.
Ok, yes my IFR vs IAT is 1.00 until it reaches 212*F This is factory. I never see those intake temps anyway.
So what do you guess my rich issue is with respect to changing ethanol content? Ran...
My sensor only has 3 wires 12+, earth, and signal. I never even knew they had a temperature compensating one. I try to keep my tank 1/2 full to keep the fuel cool. It's been in the 50*F/11*C zone...
The reason my OFFSET vs.Press vs. IGN looks different in the picture compared to the tune is I have a fixed pressure of 43.5 psi so I used the voltage reference from their data sheet.
An example...
Here's the data sheet that they supplied.
I set my base pressure at 43.5 PSI to help with the idle. Originally I tried 58PSI but the idle fueling would swing. My best guess was because the inectors...
It's boost referenced 1:1. The inectors are new along with the fuel pump and regulator. Fuel Inector Clinic supplied the info and offsets, flow rates that were particular to this set of injectors.
Well, I took the car out for a spin and although the Comp Thresh needed fixed, it didn't solve my rich issue. I'll have to post a log tomorrow, but forcing OL still showed my Lambda wideband going to...
:(Oh crap.
Yea, it was blank, but I just hovered over it and BAM! there they are just as you said. I selected %. Strange, I checked my other tunes and they all had 0.00 in the Comp Thresh.
I still...
Thank you 07GTS and all who replied.
I put the canbus pairs back to the original pins and FPCM FITTED back to NO and all is still good. The alcohol comps are working as they should. I have no idea...
I looked at a flex Silverado and it's thresh is 0.020 so Yea, I think you're correct 07GTS. Thank You!! Thank You!!
I have a buddy and his tune is set to 0.000 but has delay triggers.
What a...
So you're saying 1.00 is 100%?
Stock for this engine is 0.00 according to the repository 2014 ZL1.
I see it says 1.00 and ya, there's no description at all, I assumed %. I changed it to .001 just to see and can see a change now just in the fluctuations of the sensor, but I've also did a wire swap...
SOLVED:
I was writing ^^^this, I realized under INFERENCE that my Comp Change Thresh was at 1.00. I was looking for the minute change from just starting and seeing the alcohol content jump around...
Another thought I had that may do this is under FUEL>FLEX FUEL> INFERENCE & BLENDING. I know that this is where a certain amount of fuel has to flow before the ECM allows timing and fueling changes....
I'm beginning to wonder if this may be a canbus communication issue with the FPCM. The PID that didn't change is from that module. Possibly it isn't communicating back with the ECM.
UPDATE: well I...
After I flashed it, I went to get some E0. the % went from E37 to E28 but again, only on the bottom PID, top still said E37. The AFR was unaffected by adding the E0 so that means the ECM isn't...
Yea, My sensor is off by 6% on the E85 end and 0% at E10. The fuel is actually E85 according to the test and only shows 79%. I dont think the calibration error is the main issue though.
The log is...
A quick background.
2014 ZL1 E67 BTR3 cam, pullies, about 16 psi boost on stock heads, return fuel system.
So I had the car tuned pretty good in OL running on E80. It would be close to 1.00...
Yes sir.
I know I did the WRITE ENTIRE for the ECM. I'll have to go plug in now to see what the FPCM said. It did take over 5 minutes, but that couldve been all the ECM loading. The ECM is an E67 in a Camaro....
I have my pressure reading in HPT. FPCM fitted>NO and still had to uncheck all the SES boxes and set to NO ERROR REPORTED on the FPCM. Even this did not get rid of all my codes.(CEL was gone) I ended...
I think he meant fueling AFR, not the fuel type. Anyway, have you looked in the Tune Repository for a stock tune to start off fresh? Or maybe someone here has one?
