On the AEM, the serial data wire is blue, and the analog is white. You will use the analog wire. I'm not sure if the scanner can integrate external serial data streams.
The blue wire on the AEM is actually a serial data stream signal. You still use the rs232 though to get it into your usb port. The white wire is the analog out. You can buy an adapter from radio...
