Hey guys!
I've spent a bit of time on this forum in the past while I was tuning my L67. I'm out of that game, but I'm pretty active on the CruzeTalk community and figured I'd pop in to share...
Bump for an update?
Any updates on this? When a tune costs you $350 from Trifecta, I'd rather buy HPTuners and do it myself for not a whole lot more.
Considering this was the 9th best selling car in the US last...
Yeah, I sent in my .hpt yesterday to bill@hptuners and he changed the MAP tables and sent the tune back to me, and it works perfectly. No more long cranking starts.
You don't really need short term fuel trims to calibrate the MAF, just long term. Make a single line histogram comparing LTFTs to MAF Hz. What part of this are you not understanding? Its difficult to...
I sent my tune to bill@hptuners and he was able to modify the MAP scaling in my tune using the settings that someone had posted for an SSEi in another thread recently. I flashed the tune and the MAP...
I have re-sent the email to [email protected] and [email protected]. Please let me know if you still did not receive it.
I've e-mailed support with my .hpt file and my serial number. I sincerely hope that they can do something within a short timeframe. They'd surely be gaining another customer if they did as I have a...
Bill, I'm having the same exact issue trying to adjust MAP calibration settings for a 2bar map with a 99 Monte Carlo PCM. If I sent you guys the information you requested (the .hpt tune and the...
What are your long term fuel trims like while you're scanning?
Any update on this? I need to do the exact same thing to my car as I suspect it may be causing long cranking cold starts. What modifications did you need to make?
I'll ohm the plug wires when I get home to see what the resistance is. Those should be fairly new.
The spark plugs are new Autolite 104's gapped at 0.55.
the crank fuel settings weren't...
Fuel pressure is what it should be, I've already tested it. Fuel filter is new. Injector mappings are stock. My car doesn't use the VE. I can set them all to 0 or all to 100 an it won't make a single...
That has been the consensus among other boards as well. I've decided to ignore the VE table. I tuned the MAF table and the LTFTs are within 1% on all corresponding MAF frequencies.
Anyone have...
Does this then not apply to 3800's?

Ok, I found some dude's very comprehensive tuning guide on 60degreev6. Forgot what his name was (Gary?), but it seems everyone's using his tutorial.
I want to VE tune. Unless someone can prove to...
I fixed the slipping issue earlier. I adjusted the FMC values to lower them, and every time I lowered them, the car slipped less. Hasn't slipped now in 500 miles.
However, someone on another...
I did turn off P0748, which kept the PCM from locking up TCC on me when the engine is hot. Don't know why it locked up on me on the way to work this morning though.
Sorry, I'm a bit new to this stuff. What is the DTC, and how do you turn it off?
The problem is I know of someone who has made this work, I just haven't been able to get ahold of him.

I just need to figure out how he did...
I did some more research and found this:

This is why I asked for the amperage tables.
I called Dave there and spoke...
Anyone have the amperage tables for the shift pressures on a 2003 transmission?
From what I remember, 2003 transmissions have a hardened 4th, which is why I bought this specific transmisison, thinking that it would be more reliable. Now I'm wishing I had bought an 01 or 02.

Alright, so I have a very, very strange problem that perhaps some of you can help me with.
1995 Regal, L67 engine swap, 3.4 pulley, headers, CAI.
1999 Monte Carlo PCM
2003 Buick Century 4T65E...
